People were asking about the exhaust on Tim's EVO. We put together this video to highlight the full Tomei system. The full exhaust is almost 50lbs lighter than the stock system.

Amazing how different the same exhaust on different cars can sound. I wish my Tomei sounded this deep and smooth on my Evo 8. Entirely different setups though. Stock block and 93 octane fuel with different turbo, completely different timing and boost, no MIVEC for me, lower compression, etc.

Compression and a different turbo definitely makes a difference in sound. Are you using the Tomei manifold too?

You know what i love to hear in videos of a cars exhaust? some annoying ass music playing over it

Music is such a hard thing to pick for videos. No matter what music you pick, some people message asking for the name of the song so they can use it and some people comment hating it. Then if you take the music out people say the editing sucks and it needs music. So you add music and people comment to take the music out lol. This was 4 years ago and since then we have tried to find a balance. But one thing is for sure, if I made the videos exactly the way you think they should be made, a different group of people would complain that it wasn’t made the way they wanted it to be made. We haven’t found one editing style yet that everyone loved and nobody disliked.

Tomei expreme 3" ti has been around for about 12 years an soon as Evo X came out in 2008 Tomei made exhaust but you'd want the Newest version since no restrictions Should defs be one for Evo X
