I'm not articulate enough to describe it, but they used this track in the first episode of The Umbrella Academy, just to convey how a bunch of supposedly unconnected orphans were, well, connected. And it was conveyed by everyone in the house overhearing this song being played loud by one of the orphans, and they all smile at first hearing it, then they all slow;y start dancing to it in their respective rooms. It was beautiful.

This is a remake of Tommy James and the Shondells. It went number 1 back to back with Mony Mony by Billy Idol which was also a remake from Tommy James and the Shondells in the fall of 1987.
I didn’t know that. That will probably never happen again in the world of music.

I think it's cause we were trying to forget it, lol. No, but seriously, she is about my age and she was very popular when I was a teen. You really can't help but sing along with it and you catch yourself singing it out loud for days after listening, lol. It's a remake but I don't remember who sang the original.

I loved this song when I was younger so much so that whenever I heard it I would always ask my Dad who sings it and he would always respond “it’s Tiffany, Zoe” it then became a challenge to see if I could remember it all by myself when I heard it on the radio or on a CD and the day I finally remembered all by myself on my own was a good day, he was so proud of me. ❤️

She was a novelty, singing songs baby boomers knew but as if they're new '80s songs. It didn't last long but when she grew up she did make some good albums such as "The Color of Silence" in 2000. It's worth checking out.

I've loved this song from the first time I heard it back in 1987! At the time I had no idea this was a remake but that's okay because this is the version that I'm familiar with and love! She hit a home run with this one!! Also you may want to check out Debbie Gibson with "Only In My Dreams" also from 1987! They were around the same age and both had a debut album released in 1987! And both had a string of hits in the dance-pop style popular at the time! Love them both!!
