Just ordered the eco powder servo that you recommended. So far everything you have recommended for me works really well and I am happy with how my smt10 works. I really appreciate your help to upgrading my truck. Love your videos man

Yeah...probably not a good idea for you to run them then. haha. That's why I made sure to add that warning at the end. This truck is only for racing. They should last under the conditions I'll run it. My biggest worry is transporting it to the track when my Jeep is piled with trucks and tool bins.

Big Merica was making his own and the just fit on the driveshafts and spun with them. That's not what the real trucks do. In real life the safety hoops don't spin. THey are there so if the driveshaft snaps, it will keep it from going up and hitting the driver in the cab or flying out and hitting someone in the surrounding area. I believe Big Mericas new ones do not spin anymore.
There isn't a benefit. The safety hoops are just for looks....just like about every accessory sold for scale trail trucks. This truck will only be raced, so it won't take the beating my other trucks do and I just want to add scale details that make it look even more realistic. Definitely not for everybody, which is why I made sure to mention at the end that it is 3d printed and prone to break if bashed. It's not functional as a safety hoop...it just looks the part. Race mine on Saturday and took 2nd place with it. The hoops still look like new.

I'm just asking a question based on your title "safety loops" so it not a "safety loop" just an add on that may or may not cause other things to brake?
The name of the real one is called that. We call Fuel Cells by their name, but they don't hold fuel. You can buy fake winches that don't winch. It's just a scale representation. And people that would want them (and there are quite a few people in the RCMT groups wanting something like this) would search for it by that name. That's the only reason. They see BigMerica running them on Instagram and it looks super sick...so they want something like it. These happen to be more scale as they don't spin with the driveshaft

I seen these on Ebay and I remember seeing where there were scale limit straps for the LMT.
I'm for anything that adds to the scale look for these trucks.

How didn’t you strip any screws. On my LMT I always stripped screws
I haven't had any problems except the rear axle ends

@@hauntman I find that that the end of the axle ones do seem soft. I just haven’t had problems stripping other ones yet. Just the 1.5mm ones

You should drill a hole threw the brace and run your screws threw it so you don’t have a bow in it!
That wouldn’t work. It’s hitting the bulge in the middle of the mount. The screws are well below the brace.
