- Today we are training the Hayato class to level 200! Hayato is the master of the one sword style. This video was filmed last weekend during the 24 hour livestream where we got a couple of classes to level 200! Our goal was to get level 200 within 9 hours which is what we did!.

As a hayato main, this does bring joy. 5th job hayato isn’t even comparable to 4th job hayato, they’re like 2 different classes

also for MP problems I keep 2 different katanas. one with a line for restore MP on hit helps massively during training and my bossing Katana arcane umbra.

You can just hold down one of the first job skills and gain max battojutsu stacks, super convenient especially when you get the 140 link

Meanwhile older weebs like myself thought of Hitokiri Battousai.
1 trick for Hayato's Summer Rain skill that people might not know
use Hitokiri Strike (the Diagonal one) + Summer Rain = Summer Rain without long animation. You can move or attack right after then. Don't have to wait for like 2secs after Summer Rain's long animation.
I used that combo then Falcon's Honor, and BOOM all map monster was cleared in like 2sec. It was insanely satisfying!

*note: that cancel-animation combo only work with Diagonal version of Hitokiri Strike. It doesn't work with the Horizontal one.

Lvl 200 in one day??? Wow... I remembered playing the game and took me 10 years (from 2005 to 2015'ish) to get to lvl 200....
I remember WAY back in the day (early 2000s), early versions of MS, I'd only get to play for a bit and be happy if I got 10% in a day's training session

Dear Coppersan, could you make a list of top 5 mobbing class ? Since there's so many events that requires coin capping, I often wonder which class can clear the map the fastest.

The more videos I watch, the more I want to get back into the game but I'm afraid I won't be able to level as fast
Leveling is extremely streamlined and easy until 200 now and after that it gets more fun so don't wory about it too much!

Yeah the link skill is fine for leveling mules!

No you don't. But it will definitely make your life a lot easier. Getting classes to level 70 for the link skill ready helps a lot!
what exp buffs were u using?

Really depends, if you can fund your character I would go with NW, if not then DS does really good damage even if not funded

to answer your question really really late, grind some more in higher level areas with some new mechanics to increase your damage, and do bossing

pre big bang playing was the shit, leveling up, being a high level, was a form of respect, they respected you of being a higher level, becouse everybody know how much they had grinded to reach that level, also the skills where less fancy, I liked that more :)
