PHIL AUGUSTA JACKSON & ECHO KELLUM: COME AS YOU ARE
NBC sitcom Grand Crew’s creator and lead actor, respectively, Phil Augusta Jackson and Echo Kellum share the ways they’ve pushed against who the world tells them to be and how they’ve gotten to know who they really are. With levity and humor, Phil and Echo discuss wide-ranging topics, including Black masculinity, therapy, friendship, and dating as they invite us to water what gives us joy.

Echo's advice for dating is so simple yet so vital not just for finding a first date, but for a meaningful relationship. This all ties back to empathy and genuinely caring for others.
Thank you for this great episode! You should have more single people discuss dating on this podcast!

We agree, thank you. Maybe we just turn the podcast into a dating show for Liz? ;)

Single woman here, i have lots of male friends and i think this is a colective feeling, all single people feel the same and have the same questions, and sometimes its almost a tabu topic no one talk about it, we need more of this

Wonderful human beings ❤. Being single is a choice for me at this point. I've given up on that. Good conversation as always.

I love that Echo discovered camping and what he said about nature! :) I recently heard someone talk about this really fucked up notion that many black people don’t like being in nature - but as usual that probably comes from segregation and maybe people in the country being more racist? I really love how Ron Finley (Gangsta Gardener) talks about it and black people reclaiming their connection to nature.
