I have Toyo GSI 6 on fwd Mazda Protege 5 and it drives like a snowmobile in snow, Toyo winter tires are great because of its thread pattern and the compound. I ski all my life and do long distance trips at different ski resorts, mostly North East areas - PA, NY, NH - never had an issue with Toyo, also have Toyo all season, do swap them back when gets warmer. Highly recommend Toyo, either winter or all season tires. You all drive safe ✌️
@@krubbyscountrylife @Krubby's Country Life To note, I do have snow chains in my trunk just in case, as I mentioned I do long trips at ski resorts and never had to put snow chains yet on Toyo winter tires, my set is 195/50/16 on 2002 Mazda Protege 5, Front Wheel Drive, manual stick shift, 2.0 engine.
I had the toyo gsi 5 tires last winter and this winter I have the gsi 6 in my Rav. Haven't had to drive in snow this year yet but today is forecasted like 6 inches! 😭 hoping they don't let me down on the hills.

Yes i considered those. But went for the G3 instead
