There is something about Justice that really draws you in, my son is 10 yrs old and I introduced my him to Angel Dust a few years ago, he became a huge fan. I was surprised to see Angel Dust were coming to play near us here in Germany. I instantly bought tickets. But the venue allows kids from age 13, so I wrote to the band, saying hey I'm a little worried about getting my son in and also concerned about his safety. long story short they replied saying don't worry we will sort him out and make sure he is safe etc. We arrived a little early to the venue, walked straight in and at the back was a. room with doors open.Justice was sitting on the couch.I said to my son hey lets go in in and say hi, he was totally freaked out, saying no no..I just hey lets go, Justice saw us and was like hey man are you who contacted us ? and that was that, We had the best conversation, he welcomed my son in, We took some photos together. later during the set he sang his name during song Stepping Stone. I just missed filming that part, but I did capture Justice ending the set and walking off the stage past my son and fist bumping him. It was a powerful moment he will never forget. We love that more than ever and the connected deep with the music and the whole idea of what good punk/ hardcore also stand for. I could see they were also stoked that this little kid is so into their music. The whole venue was actually amazed that this 10 yr old kid was in there. (He had this little pro Kids earplugs in which save his ears as he sat stage side ) We had profound night together , Justice and the band for sure changed one kids life forever. It was great meeting Justice, as a father I had my doubts taking him into the environment but it was game changer. I have those clips on instagram
Great interview, thank you. Interesting questions and interesting answers. I highly respect and admire Justice. His lyrics are probably the only ones that REALLY talked to me in the hardcore scene (with COT also, maybe) during my 20ies. When I've discovered TUI they were on a way to drop Secrets of the world and they came to Paris, France for a gig with Terror and Hatebreed. The show was fantastic. I had the opportunity to discuss with Justice and Brendan after the TUI show. They were genuinely friendly and waiting calmly on the TUI booth. I took a picture with both of them but lost it unfortunately. Justice, if you read this message, you're the man! A great and influential artist to me. For TUI fans, make sure to listen to Sai Nam also. Justice sings with Mike Dijan on guitar, excellent side project.

I had a similar experience with my stepson. Angel dust brand new soul tour was his first ever "hardcore" show.
I love that you mentioned Berl. He loved his hardcore (especially Hatebreed and VOD). I’m sure he’s super proud of what you’ve done.
