No...he's said in several interviews that he is straight...in the film "Howl", James Franco was the first and only man Aaron has kissed in his life...just because he's in theater doesn't mean he's gay.
I like that he didn't change the pronouns to pull a musical "no homo" four for you Aaron this is why you're my favorite! (Well...one of the many, many, many reasons...)
I believe this was at Miscast, in which the whole point is that everyone is genderbent so changing the pronouns would defeat the point of the entire performance.

@disneychannel290 yes it is transposed but it's actually Higher because the song in it's normal Key sits low in a mans voice. The song also sounds better in the top of the register so they raised it so it became a tenor song instead of a baritone one. :)
I had the exact same "OMFG AAAA!" response when I saw the artist name and song title on the TH-cam clip! Is it not a *gorgeous* song? And Kerry does this so beautifully. I can't wait for that show to hit Broadway - definitely seeing it live.

Sarah-Kate Glenn in a way, Aaron has to "say Goodbye" to Frank just as much as Brenda did. He loves the character just as much and his own connection.
