    While the content isn't as eerie as some of my darker videos, it's definitely a bit more intense than my usual relaxing, no-talking videos. I hope you enjoy this and experience the new sound effect I've been working hard to create. I play with the depth of sound quite a bit in this video and would love to hear your thoughts on it!
    -Sincerely,
    Calm

    Its odd hearing a voice when the pauses and speech patterns dont match what you're familiar with. Its a good video but the voice with the mismatched speech pattern such as lack of pauses or continual monotone in areas throws me slightly and pulls me out of the experience. That being said. Perhaps a lesser recognised voice mimic would have been less distracting. It is still an enjoyable effort, just the voice is far too recognisable.

      Thank you for taking the time to write out such details feedback! I appreciate it, I am working on blending in the pause and making my voice not so monotone. Unfortunately, it is a hard technique for me to learn currently because I usually need to rework the script after recording. However, suggestions like yours really help me fine-tune it, thank you! 🤖❤️

      Hmm, color me curious what's the voice used on usually?

    • @Loki_thegod_dess

      @@benj4690 It is a close replica to Tom Hiddlestons voice. If you don't recognise him from Marvel such as The Avengers/Loki, you may recognise him as Hank in I saw the light or Thomas Sharpe in Crimson Peak he was also in the night manager and some productions like Betrayal. Due to his teachings from Eton he was taught how to speak in a certain particular way, persuasive with pauses in all the correct areas. Unfortunately A.I cannot replicate this and naturally our brains are drawn to the most logical option. So when we hear voices it will specifically trigger memories of people. This particular voice triggers most people's awareness of Tom Hiddlestons and his many varying characters. A.I simply cannot replicate the voice and instead the monotone rolls and incorrect pauses breaks the illusion. The human brain must have logical explanations. An example of this is ghosts. It searches continually for an explanation or a reason as to why an object moved seemingly alone. We must make sense and recognise it, it is the same with voices.

    Fantastic. You've got the ear for pacing and timing sounds. Sometimes, ASMRtists will find particular sounds they and listeners like and beat them to death. Yours are always balanced and timely.

    once again great vid! if you had any doubts about using your own voice, id say at least for me it worked out really well and you should consider doing a few more if you feel like it! I think your voice fits the over tone well on this one. if anything, i think making few more sudden spacial changes(?not sure if thats the right word for it) could be nice, like basically have the narrator move around more. personally I often find those sudden change in direction the most effective. 3D studio does that quiteoften with those "heres left, heres center, heres right" stuff and those sudden approach into a close whisper or whatever. anyhow, looking forward to your next upload!

    Love the layered sounds in this one. The telephone ringing was startling tho, maybe it would be better if it was made to sound like it was in the far side of the room. And when you're speaking to me, the POV, would like to request you go ear to ear (not sure how to explain it, but it's like Heather Feather's Circle Time asmr) while incorporating a variety of normal voice, soft-speaking and whispering from varying distances.

    • @CalmCavernsASMR
      @CalmCavernsASMR  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You are so right on the mark! I was debating for a long time about the phone ring sound because I knew it was loud enough to startle but wanted an element of surprise in the video. However, your suggestion of doing a far side of the room ring is so much better. I will definitely keep that in mind next time to create a better spatial effect. Thank you for such an awesome feedback!

    hey man the video overall is great, just at this point th-cam.com/video/MKKVBBrlz-8/w-d-xo.html, its very startling. It'd be nice if it was a lot quieter and a soft ringing sound rather than a loud bell.
    Cheers

    • @CalmCavernsASMR
      @CalmCavernsASMR  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for your feedback, I originally went with a quieter bell just like my other video. However, I wanted to make a startling sound because if the listener was the one being experimented on they would be very sensitive to every sound going on around them. From your suggestion though I will find another way to ease in the sound. 😊

      It is my voice mix with heavy editing for an uncanny effect. I wanted to create a sense that something felt off about the voice. It seems that some listeners like it while others don't. So I think I will see how the feedback is before implementing more of it on my channel!
