An acquired taste no doubt. Especially with that style of hands. But I really, really like it. And the depth of that dail is stunning. Beautiful vintage style... For several years now 50’s and 60’s watch designs has unquestionably been regarded as very cool. Now we’re starting to appreciate the quintessential 70’s designs which has been seen as a bit too far out until now. Who knows; in 10 years time we might be praising the 80’s watches all though it’s hard to imagine now. There was so much ugliness going round in the 1980’s😂

Maybe a ship's wheel would be more appropriate than a car steering wheel on the exhibition case back of a Seastar model?
The case reminds me of Tudor watches, especially the slab like sides.

How is the back opened on this watch, it is not screwed as far as I see, is it a snap off case back? Very strange for a 100m water resistance.
40mm I hoped that the new batch wouldn't go jumbo size. Unfortunately it did.

Just go out and buy the original with a real Tissot movement instead. I restored 2 this summer and they are true masterpieces.
Nice looking, except the minute and hour hands are too short for my taste.
