Terrific video Louise 😊 Really excellent in every way 👏. Fab scenery, beaches, sea and a variety of trains too. Wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed this. Great way to start my Sunday morning.
Thank you Paul!! It was such a joy to make this! We are blessed with such stunning locations here in the South West! Hope you have a brilliant rest of your Sunday!
Oh how lovely, lots more memories from living in Brixham harbour. Forgotten about the lovely red sand in that area. It's such a pretty area & well done managing all the steps on that walk ! Will be watching from Palmanova next week! Great video Louise. 😊
Ah, thanks Caroline!! I absolutely loved this walk! Yes, the and is so red! I talked about it a bit in my video recording but did not include it in the final edit as it was getting quite long. It’s beautifully formed by the red minerals. Such a pretty area! How lovely that you will be watching from Palma Nova next week! I hope you have a fantastic and refreshing break there! I was watching Alex’s live from Cala Millor and Cala Bona yesterday on @mallorcaunderthesun and it was quite surreal walking through the streets of central Plymouth while viewing the beautiful beach scenes there!
Ah, a wonderful video of a wonderful walk, thoroughly enjoyed that and it’s certainly something I’d love to do myself one day now that I am back on my feet, thanks so much for that 👍🏻
@@SouthWestSundays I’ve had a remarkable recovery, apart from a bit of discomfort I hardly know I’ve had it done and it’s only just over 4 weeks… am so happy 👍🏻
Steam trains, beaches, great views a cafe and lovely weather - what more could you ask for 😃 Really lovely video showing up the South West at its finest.
Thanks Jesse!! Everything fell into place for this video with the actual walk, the scenery, the weather, the editing. Everything came together so nicely! Live it when that happens. I think you are right about it showing the South West at its finest! 🤗
Lovely video Louise! this was my families holiday destination when i was a small boy. Goodrington, you have bought back memories of the train ect. we have been recently and done the round robin. its great. the cliff walk from Goodrington to Paignton is beautiful at night when its all lit up in different colours 👌👍👍
Ah! That sounds lovely! I will have to do that next time to see the colours. I love the Round Robin trip. I did it last year. So pleased that this brought back memories for you of when you were a small boy!
That diesel train done it for me, I love them more so than steam..7:42 I haven’t been to Paignton for a number of decades but I did visit splashdown, it wasn’t warm …🤣
Oh brilliant!!! That diesel train was pretty amazing!! I love the sound of it!!! I think I will have to visit the waterpark but not keen to if it isn’t warm 🤣 Thanks so much for watching and commenting 🤗
@@SouthWestSundays on a hot day obviously the cooler water will be a relief, it’s a great park from what I remember..i absolutely love the sound of the diesel, it’s just so relaxed and so much power 👍🏻👍🏻
As you say, wow. I know this area well but have never walked that particular section of the coastal path, an omission I must clearly remedy next time I visit Devon. Lovely video again, Louise.
Haha! I do say ‘Wow!’ quite a lot 🤣 Ah, I hope you get to walk that section sometime soon. It was especially resplendent in the bright sunshine ☀️ Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Wow Louise. That was a super dooper summer video!! Happy families on different beaches and a cove, 2 shots of the steam trains and lots of walking! Well done. How do you do all that up and down hill? You were also talking about your 28,580 steps when you were doing the last Wellington video. Is that 13.5 miles! Thank you for sharing your lo....o....ong holiday walk from Paignton to Brixham. 😊🤩🧡🚶♀🌳🌳🌺🌺🏖🏖🚂🚃🚃🚃
Thanks so much Cathy! This was such a pleasure to film! Loving the emojis 🤗 Crumbs, I had not thought about the steps in terms of distance! It certainly felt like 13.5 miles 🤣 Doing these videos definitely keeps me fit - especially all the up and down hills 🤣 This walk was one of my highlights from the few days holiday I had in Paignton. There will be another one up soon walking from Babbacombe to Torquay which I made the next day! Really stunning views from that one too!
After watching this video a couple of times now Louise you are filming and creating great content for people to go out and about and explore, have a new adventure and get fit x
Thanks Mike! That’s such a nice comment! I really hope that others will be inspired to do some of these things that I create content about if they are able to and in so doing get fit and enjoy the beautiful adventures. I never dreamed when I started this channel how much I myself would benefit from it myself in that way, alongside many other joys I find in the creation and community side of it.
Dogs are allowed at Elberry Cove and Fishcombe Cove (where I featured the little cove cafe) all year, but other beaches there are restrictions (No dogs between 1 May and 30 September). I think the water dodgems are motorised. I would love to ride one!!!

Oh Louise that was a beautiful, colourful & interesting video. It had everything. Have a great holiday.

What a gorgeous historic train. Reminds me of the miniature steam trains we had growing up.
