Interesting concept. I think the only addition I would consider is hooking into my tree tether after the first length of climb. The lineman's belt does not stop a fall necessarily if your feet slip off the tree. With this system I think it is when your feet slip, not if your feet slip or kick out. Eventually you will kick out and a lineman's belt can ride all the way to the ground if you get caught in the transitional point where it is looser. Not criticizing. Again, interesting concept and kind of a cool idea. I just like to be attached to the tree all the way up and down. A tether is a safer option but it may interfere with this system. Just my 2 cents.
Just ran across your 2 "SLADDER" Videos. That's very neat and unique. One question when you get to hunting height, do you remain in the Sladder stirrups for duration of the hunt or transition to a platform? Just wondering I don't remember you covering that in the videos.
Either works… if I am going deep into the woods I will use the stirrups… if I’m hunting within a mile or two I might take the platform. The platform of course is a more comfortable but is not needed.

My saddle doesnt have the linemans belt, it is just a center tie in where i normally girth hitch around the tree. Any ideas how to make this work. I see you pulling the sladder up through your linemans belt. I don't know how that would work in my case.

Are you going to be in Houston for the Hunting Show in August? I'm intrigued by this system but I would like to see it firsthand.

You’d have to use it like you are one sticking and tethered to the tree as you climb or find a way to attach a a lineman’s loop to your saddle.

Cant gouge yourself on a sladder if it kicks out off the tree like a stick...softer ,quieter,far more packable and all around moble.
