    About Revive Outdoors:
Revive Outdoors was created by our Founder, Taylor Philpot, in 2020 after the loss of his daughter. Taylor experienced a lot of healing through the outdoors and wanted to share this with others who found themselves walking through a challenging season of life. He began to connect others to the outdoors through outings, content creation and events where they too, found the outdoors can be a place to “Revive Your Life” and connect with God in a greater way.
Often when Taylor reflects, he says, “I remember going to the woods after we lost our daughter and crying out in anger to God some days and in sadness the next. The woods became my safe place to talk with God and tell Him what I really felt in my heart. Sometimes I would get deep into the woods so I could scream without anyone hearing me or cry without anyone seeing me. In my lowest moments spent in the woods, God brought me closer to Him and it allowed me to REVIVE my life.
Revive Outdoors is an 501(c)3 organization created to make a positive and eternal impact in the outdoor community through events, outings and content creation. Each year, we host multiple educational outdoor events, create content through our social media platforms and orchestrate outings that provide a one-on-one environment that teaches proper stewardship of the outdoors.
    Sladder:
    Sladder Climbing System (Patent Pending)
Please note there are 7 and 8 foot versions which are based on your vertical reach NOT your height, please be sure to read instructions below on how to determine which is best suited for you.
To determine the proper length for you, place a measuring tape against the wall and with your feet flat on the ground, reach up as high as you can on the tape. If your finger tips reach 7 foot or less, order the 7 foot version. If your fingertips reach over 7 foot, order the 8 foot version. If you are close and are unsure, go with the 8 foot version, you'll just have some extra length hanging on the bottom, be sure not to step on it when attaching the Sladder to the tree.
The ultimate ultra light system to reach any height in just about any tree. This is the most versatile climbing system on the market. The ultra light weight and packability of this system makes it the perfect tool for the mobile hunter that goes deep into the woods or those that hunt near the back yard. There is no damage left on the tree using this system so it's perfect for public land. The only metal parts are the two Double Jay hooks, which are coated with nylon, so it eliminates the metallic clanging associated with climbing sticks. It packs down very compact and fits in your saddle pouch or backpack. This system was originally designed for saddle hunting but can also be used with a hang on stand on public land leaving no ground level indication that your hang on stand is there.
The 7 foot version weighs 1 lb 12 oz and the 8 foot version weighs 1 lb 13 oz. This is the entire Sladder Climbing System including the daisy chains. There is no additional weight for cam straps or aiders.
The distance between the rungs on the Short verion is 12 inches and the distance between the rungs on the Long version is 14 inches. The width of each rung is 6 inches.

I ran the sladder last season it works exactly the way Vinny designed it. It replaced my EWO ultimate one stick. It is very easy to use in the dark. Plus Vinny is great guy. My whole setup, Sladder, platform, gear strap and saddle is under 4 pounds.

@@reviveoutdoors4him checked out the alternate vid of climb up and back down. I agree with others, rappeling is safer way to come back down in the dark and in colder temps w bulky clothing. But this is ingenius for climbing. Thanks for covering this. Well done, friend.

@@davidthompson1529 thanks for checking it out! Rappelling has definitely been the way most have concluded they will come down!

I believe ascending in the dark would be the same as any method. Descending would be more challenging, which is why most have concluded rappelling down is the way to go.

Sorry guys, I used these in actual hunting application. Very dangerous climbing down on.

I have a Sladder on the way and will be giving it a try myself in the woods here soon and will create videos descending with the Sladder and descending by rappelling so everyone can see both methods.
Please subscribe so you do not miss it! I will be sure to address any safety concerns or issues once I apply it in a woods setting.
