I ran the sladder last season it works exactly the way Vinny designed it. It replaced my EWO ultimate one stick. It is very easy to use in the dark. Plus Vinny is great guy. My whole setup, Sladder, platform, gear strap and saddle is under 4 pounds.

Love the sladder. Def get the daisy chain extensions though. Suits mde perfectly, using a rappel for descent, which also serves as my tether and secondary lanyard for bypassing branches.

I believe ascending in the dark would be the same as any method. Descending would be more challenging, which is why most have concluded rappelling down is the way to go. Thanks for watching!

Run 40’ rope and a mad rock safeguard and repel down the tree. Just as one sticking
