Hello DarkSlayer, glad to see you're back to Horror Games Development. I watched your entire first series and it was quite good, but it did need some updating. You're a very good instructor, so keep up the GREAT work!!! I'm excited about watching this new series.

Thank you so much for making these videos! They have been extremely helpful as a beginner. I appreciate that you don't just SHOW us, but also EXPLAIN why and how it works!

Thanks for the movie, I tried to create something myself, but only a simple menu I managed to create and move the character, but I did not want to look down and up, and thanks to you maybe I can do more than myself

Hello Mr. DarkSlayer, I've been watching your new Horror Game 2024 series and compared it to the older series and I find the older series to be much better in terms of designing an actual game, verses the different mechanics of the game, which is what the 2024 series does. In my opinion, the older version is more enjoyable. I haven't finished the 2024 series, but it kind of turned me off because it has no goal. The older version had a goal and a plan. The new series is a bunch of game mechanics design. Have you considered redoing the older versions with newer content and a different game theme? I think that would be more worth the time. (Just my thoughts).

It's an interesting dilemma I've put a lot of thought into. I think the new format is the only sustainable way to produce content for a wide market. In the original version the amount of comments I would get for me to basically program people's games for them was astounding. Because to them, I basically was. The old version also limited my ability to swap topics and do mechanics that had nothing to do with my current project.
As for the goal, the goal is to learn and grow as a game developer. Each episode might not hit a topic for every person but at the end of the day I'm reaching as many people as I can.

At the end I noticed that you put your code in the "BPI Interaction Request graph" and no code in the "Event graph". Do you use both or all code in one?
Also I have to add that your way of teaching is really top tier for me!

If I understand your question correctly, the BPI Interaction Request graph is purely for defining what happens when it receives a request. The event graph still remains the main place for general code for that BP. =]
Some people will even make a custom event in the main event graph and just have the interface call it in the function instead of putting the code there.

Yo this so much better than the last one….. I have an idea for a game I can make in Unity where your an assassin and you have to “eliminate” certain people/ai and there could be more levels and stuff like that do you think it’s good and do you have any features I could add??

you probably want to take some insparation from assasins creed because it sounds very simular to it
