As much as I like camping at Triund, it's good they stopped allowing it for people bringing own tents. It got very bad when I last visited in 2018 when it was camping was still allowed. Way too many people and making too much noise, playing party songs. That kind of fun you can have back home in your city or down at Mcleodganj. Triund is not a place for that.
My friend and I decided to avoid the crowd and go up to snow line for camping.
Agree that some crowd spoils the vibe of the place. Al so locals of himachal don't like this kind of behaviour.

Thanks for making an informative video really appreciate it, I was doing some research on this trek and found there is also another trek to triund via Mana Valley? Did you know much about it at all? Also did you camp at snowline and any waterstream going around that area so I can fill my water bottle?
If you go from the route of bhagsunag, there is only 1 water stream there. Otherwise from gallu devi mandir route, there are not fresh water stream.

To come back, it took 3 to 3.5 hrs for me. Rest it depends upon your fitness level and experience.
