The respray looks good. Owner will be delighted. I see you primed, then apply seam sealer. Appreciated the chat about the spark plugs and oil. I will get some Champion in. Would like to hear your recommendation for BW65 transmission. I used a Comma oil in mine, but they don't claim it matches original spec any more.
It’s strange how Champion spark plugs disappeared from all UK suppliers and everything became Bosch or NGK… maybe they just gradually lost out on the market when engines became much more sophisticated ? We had the factory by us at Upton on the Wirral… there was also the Mobil oil blending plant in Birkenhead and Castrol in Ellesmere Port… all sadly now gone and presumably replaced by imports….
No you cannot paint with the doors on as you can’t get to areas that need to be painted there is no risk of colour difference as it is a solid colour and one mixed batch of paint if it was metallic then yes it would have to be painted in one piece but in this instance there is no risk of colour difference
Lovely work mate , the Wolseley looks bloody magnificent 👍👌
The Wolseley is looking good, Interested to see what you are going to do and how on the Stag. Nice update Thanks Bob

Couldn’t you paint with door in - then there no colour difference when mixed
