Give Pete Loeffler his own signature series. He's the lead singer and guitar player for Chevelle and reps your guitars pretty much exclusively I think. He made a comment once in an interview that you hadn't approached him, but was highly interested because he LOVES your guitars. He's awesome, and honestly deserves it.

Made in the PRS factory on Kent Island, about 2 miles from my house. Always enjoyed the fact that these great guitars are made right down the street from me. I actually worked in the roof of the factory when it was being built. And soon your Chapman ML-8RS will be sitting in my studio. Cheers Chappers!

I thought Chapmans were built in the same workshop as PRE SE in Korea? I think Paul said that workshop improved because of investment he put in himself so...giving Paul a Chapman guitar would be like handing him a guitar from his own factory. Do correct me if I'm mistaken :)

+NihongoGamer they are built in the same place, but to be fair so are many, many other brands - Paul is not an investor... the investors actually work at the factory.

dude...been playing for 20 years and a few weeks ago i watched one of your older vids of how to use the modes in any key with finding the root, scale, then counting up to the minor, and that way of playing the minor blew my playing wide open and I've applied that method to the other modes as well. No more bum notes!!! thanks from Ohio.
THAT is beautiful, Rob!! I was at the factory for he Experience PRS event last month, and I can say that as an owner of two, I am very proud. PRS are perfect, as are Chapman ;).

What a beauty! You're right, PRS are the only brand who pipe out great original shapes which are super sexy! Great playing as always Rob!
These guitars are terrific. I have a 2016 S2 singlecut standard satin (McCarty burst!) that is a joy to play. One of the things I haven't seen reviewed yet is the new intonatable wraparound bridge on the singlecuts, which is one of the things that convinced me to buy. A great improvement, in my opinion, and a surprising value on a relatively affordable guitar. My guitar is resonant, plays like butter, has rock-solid tuning, and sounds like a PRS -- which is to say, amazing. The tones on the video are very close to mine, which also has the "PRS designed" #7 pickups. Thanks for posting the video, Rob. I've been a faithful viewer for years, and I'm grateful for your willingness to freely share your talent and your insight. Thanks also to Paul, who has given those of us who can't afford a Core model the chance to own a Maryland-made PRS. Looking forward to seeing your new S2 in more videos.

I have this exact guitar as well as few gibsons and fenders and I am not saying this because i live in Maryland but there is just something about this guitar that is amazing, the tone and sustain is unmatched. very comfortable to play. hated the finish on it but soon as i plugged it in my ears forgot what it looked like lol. very versatile guitar i had to pay for mine though congrats Chap

Just got the 24 fret version. Was intending to get a Les Paul studio at 5-700 more but the cool staff at guitar center gave me this and man...no contest. This feels like an extension of me and I can get way more sounds out of it. Like a cross between an SG, Strat and PRS.

The SE Mark Sig does exist m8, just came out recently.

Sweet new guitar!
I want a sating finished PRS, i love the neck on my Gibson with satin finish, the guitar resonates really well and is almost as comfortable as my Music Man neck. Though nothing beat a unfinished neck with a thin layer of tru-oil finish.

PRS makes great guitars... No matter the cost, they all feel great and are built well. I second you on the SG vibe. The Vela in Heritage Cherry also screams that SG vibe!

I have the PRS Mira but my #1 guitar is an 83 Strat made in the US. It has the jack that is straight in instead of angled up.

I love my S2 Custom 24. It was my first American made guitar and it's still my favorite most days.
I'd probably have another couple of them if they offered different neck profiles. The pattern regular is fine, but I find pattern thin to work for me ever so slightly better.

I didn't dig the pickguard when the S2 series was first announced, but its really grown on me. As for the rest of the guitar, its a PRS. Paul doesn't accept less than amazing.

Very nice riff. Hey cool for you. I've got couple of PRS guitars and appreciate your look see/review. Don't have a Chapman yet but it will happen. Thinking about a Tele... ML3. Leaning towards the traditional.
Those PRS Satin S2s are easily the best value of any American made guitar on the market right now. I was so impressed with the ones I played I actually sent Paul Reed Smith a thank you letter and I haven't even been able to buy one yet. Check out the single cut if you get a chance. It is classic rock heaven.
