- On this episode of Going Ringside we're joined by the legendary wrestler Haku AKA Meng. Widely considered the legitimate toughest pro wrestler of all time (in real life). He's also considered a member of the famed Anoa'i family and called "Uncle Tonga" by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

Before WWF and after Japan he was in the Montreal Territory “international Wrestling” with Dino Bravo and The Rougeau Bros. and Rick Martel and he was known as King Tonga.

he didnt drink. But when he drink.. This means he did drink.. He just couldnt handle his liquor..
One day somebody challenged Haku he ate his liver with Fava beans YUM
If you see him again ask what Martial Arts he studied, I know he did Sumo but I wonder what else he did to be able to do the kicks he did, I'm guessing it was some form of Karate.
Pretty sure he practiced a discipline of Karate, and also Tae Kwon Do and some Judo. He was also strong as an ox and had a super high pain threshold.
He has a black belt and a couple other disciplines
I know at his peak he was the baddest dude, but time has not been too kind to him and doesn't look to keep himself fit. I still love Haku and wish him the best, but brother get yourself together. I've seen him walkout to the ring not too long ago, he looked like he had trouble walking.
He would still mess most people up. The biggest endorsement and best endorsement he got from someone as being tough, has to be from Don fry, who said he knew him and hung out with him in Japan. And said that he was scary in frightening human beeing. You would wake up in the hospital the next day.

His answers are short and not too in-depth.....maybe early Alzheimer's, or possibly CT damage?
He's old and probably tired of the questions being asked. "Look at you! Where are you from, big fella?"

English is his 5th language. Tongan, Japanese, French, Spanish, then English…. Haku would give a chair CTE.
