Honestly speaking reclassing should stop because it really comes down to the parents and what their principles are. I don’t find it cool to give a kid an extra year of AAU, extra year of high school, extra year of middle school ball just because his parents value “making it” more than an education (something that can never be taken away from you mind you). However, it will cost him a year of excellent training as he will be practicing against other players on his team that are not even close to as good as him. Being the best player on the court will never make you better. Obviously he can easily overcome this for a one and done to the NBA. However, a player that will take 2 to 3 years to make the NBA will really be affected playing against this low of a level of competition for that long.
Freshman yr I was 14 and had to play against some 19 yr olds who were much bigger and stronger and all I thought of it was that I needa hit the weight room, someone being a lil older than you shouldn’t be an excuse

I play with tenth graders in eighth grade and there is some reclasses in the tenth grade but most players can still keep up with them. Most people blame some other people's skills because of their reclass but usually they just good anyway.

@Andre Ricardo Bryant Your dreaming. I saw video of him 2 days ago training with other HS athletes. He was standing side by side with another player listed at 5'10 and was dead even with him if it wasn't for his hair. Mikey is listed RIGHT NOW at 6'1. Players are always listed 1 inch taller and often times 2 inches. Mikey at his Doctor with shoes off is MAYBE 5'11 at best
