true. the thing about bright eyes is you have to listen to the album in order. it tells a story. if its out of order its like skipping around pages in a book!
the best thing about conor's music is that it's always changing, progressing and redefining itself just like the people that listen to it. the difference between his first and last album is pretty great and i love both but for different reasons
wonder if this will be on the album? none of the song titles seem to be this one... can't wait can't wait! I think I need to get this off my mind for the next month somehow, lol...
hi you guys!!!! We loved the video, thanks! When are you coming back to Mexico? Come, lots of hugs and kisses straight outta Tlaltenango, Max, Armin and Juliana
this shit is awesome. it's good to see that actual art still exists somewhere in music, rather than the useless noise most of it has become. really excited for the album.
gah! he's on tour again! and on wednesday hes coming to pomona which is like an hour away and im 18 and everything but my dad wont let me go and gah! im gonna have a heart attack!! i have to see a bright eyes concert before i die; all of you going, you better feel damn lucky : (
man am I jealous! And, maybe you don't know it yet, but you should really be looking forward to (or at least I would be looking forward to...) Levon Helm (of The Band). Seriously, that festival has connections to three out of my four favorite musicians--Bright Eyes, The Band and Bob Dylan. And the Swell Season and Gillian Welch aren't bad either. But, I can't complain too much. Going to one of the SF shows--such a small venue and everything!
Conor as always been more toward to the folk side even with Bright Eyes, Examples, Im Wide Awake its morning. or Road to joy, or Lets not shit ourselves.. all have folk roots, his last album with bright eyes Cassadaga was VERY folk/country/indie. im glad he has decided to move on from bright eyes. he's moved on in his life, i have been a fan of his music since i was young. and i've noticed over the years as he grew so did his music.
that has more of his folk influence in it doesnt it? thats what i heard. the folk part is what i love most about conor's albums. i'll try that one next then!
thanks! hey, im planning on buying another bright eyes cd soon. so far i only have fevers and mirrors and digital ash in a digital urn. what do you think i should get next??

Eagle On A Pole 8. Moab 9. NYC-Gone, Gone 10. Valle Mistico (Ruben's Song) 11. Souled Out!!! - stream 12. Milk Thistle

I love the shots of the moon, and the completely relaxed feeling of this video. Seems like they had a lot of fun recording :)

Bright eyes is only gone if you let it die, keep it alive by celebrating his growth as a musician!!!!
IN LOVE with the beginning. Almost makes me wanna cry.
Everyday I wish for a third album. Such a collection of talent.
Best comment. Share the same love for bright eyes and this man's art. PEACE

I saw him back in october, it was cut then too. so its been awhile. But i agree...much nicer indeed.

aw so lucky! have fun :)
That is the album list, but I'm pretty sure some of the titles are different than the 400 Bar, so it's possible that it is and the title was changed.
This is recent?!
