    There is not many karate channels that focuses on technique explanation. You are a kind soul, thank you :) When showing the basis of the techniques, can you put an explanation like in the exercises to emphatize how one should do the technique and how not to do ?
    Also, can you make a video about distance management and timing ?

    Thanks for the great video, it's great to listen to you in english. Gonna try the drills in future 😊 and just to let you know, there is a minor typo in the description of the 3rd drill, where you have put "eact" instead of " react".
    Have a great day 🙏😊

    Thanks for the video. I liked the idea of exercises to improve it. That's what we can practice in our dojo. Suggestion: can you explain how we can improve the step in Kizami Zuki? To ensure the step goes in full harmony with the hand. Thanks again 🙏

      I am not thinking about step in the moment when I punch, it’s working automatically 😁
      You are right, everything needs to be in harmony… all parts of your body.

    This is not kizami-tsuki, but a very very similar technique...if it were not for that "throw" of the fist, which makes sure that it is the latter to control and drag the rest of the body (and not vice versa), naturally bringing the torso and therefore the face to lean forward...unbalancing without any doubt the "hara".

    • @karate55

      This is our karate style. Maybe for you it’s not the Kizami-zuki, so interesting to watch yours )

      @@karate55 A kizami? This thing? Perhaps did you mean a "launch my face towards the opponent - tsuki"!? It's literally a take-off towards the opponent!
      And let's hear: what would this "style" be called? "The primal fencing"? 🤣

    • @jasp1962
      @jasp1962 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@G_D_R_ You must be quite new to karate if you do not know the difference between Traditional karate and Sportskarate. In Sportskarate the hand starts the movement and the body follows. Opposite traditional. That is because we have to emphasize speed over power. But it does not mean that we can’t do traditional techniques. You just don’t wind any championships being to slow.

    • @jasp1962
      @jasp1962 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@G_D_R_ On the other hand. If you knew anything about karate at all, you would know karate starts and ends with respect. And you, kohai, is disrespectful.

    • @G_D_R_
      @G_D_R_ ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jasp1962 No no, don't worry, I assure you that here I am certainly not the new one! If I do not know the difference between traditional karate and "sportskarate", it is because the latter does not really exist: this, "stuff", which you very ignorantly call "sports karate", is nothing more than the result of the westernization, sportsmanship and commodification of a martial art, of a lifestyle...and this practice not only changes the intention and attitude, but also the techniques, which become therefore less effective in the name of maximum preservation than what we can call an "athlete", but certainly not a "martial artist", precisely because weakened under each of the points mentioned. If you always train in a certain way, respecting certain canons, you can not expect to be able to change the way you do it in a moment: you will never succeed, because the mind and body will always continue to get used to the most frequent way of doing...so NO, traditional practice is not stuff for you "jumpy jumpy". After 16 years practicing REAL KARATE, I only know that I'm TIRED of having to see some scum sportsmanship and commodify my martial art for a MERO round of money... and I am even more so to have to bear that every kid who practices this "stuff", is really convinced that he can consider himself at MY level, if not even SUPERIOR. So, sorry, but NO THANKS: in this case I do not owe any respect, but only outrage...and anyway, not ALL respect is due...half must be earned. "Respect" aside, if what I said does not correspond to YOUR reality, then why are you offended?
