It’s nice to see kids and young people into studying. As a 45 years old guy, 20 years now in IT, I can tell that if I’ve had read much more at my younger days I would be even higher in my career now . But definitely I consider myself a successful professional because dreading and studying a bit every day .
Awesome Video. I am on a similar path. I just got my Sec + and now working on Cysa using the same study material. Keep the content coming. Im looking forward to more videos.
Keep it up Colin! I was in your same shoes a few years ago. When I graduated college I had my A+ Network+ Security+ EMCISA MCP CCENT and CCNA R&S a month before I graduated with my IT degree! This will all pay off in the end when you graduate with your degree, experience and certifications you will get a great job out of college!
Me too.... i just pass the security+ and now have the CYSA+. Happy to see lots of info is on the security+..... but they say this one is even harder.... what you think???
They aren't required, but I would definitely recommend having a knowledge level on par with Security+ if you want the best chance to succeed in your studies. The CySA+ objectives includes many concepts that are core to Security+.
Thanks for the video Colin!! Does Jason Dion from udemy cover these type of questions in his course? I just want to make sure th-cam.com/video/dT0lmER4qlo/w-d-xo.html In this link shown are performance based questions, where I need to perform a task or solve a problem in simulated IT environments. I don't know how to solve this. Because this gave me an issue when I took it. Can you give me some ideas? Thx.
I bought the book that you recommended last week and I feel much more prepared for my exam now

Hey Colin, did you pass your CySA+?
what's a good certification pathway for a student in cyber security?
Hi, thanks for the video - found it very helpful. Quick question - do you need to be Security+ certified to attempt this exam? Thanks in advance
How many performance based questions has cysa+?
Did you take the exam yet?
