Very very cool. Just started using LFOs in my productions. Can't wait to invest in these and add these to the arsenal. Thank you for the introduction/explanation!
Man those sounds are juicy... The plugins are beautiful, too. I love that they dance with the music. Would love a full track from this thing, but I know you're pretty deep into the modular stuff.
Nice. Very similar to Shaperbox. The CV bit looks interesting but CV tools does a great job already in that department. Knor looks really interesting, I look forward to giving that a go.
FYI anything CV related in Ableton can work with the ES9 ( or any other expert sleepers interface ) using the M4L CV tool suite. Although this plugin would be a great addition no doubt.
@@billB101 yeah I've been using the cv toolkit (mostly clock out) but was looking forward to trying to add these devices together in a chain. Also, cv toolkit was buggy for me on windows for awhile although it might've been the bad es9 unit that I had before this new one arrived. Admittedly, I haven't tried the CV shaper out as much so maybe this would all likely produce the same results.
i was wondering the same, because by default it doesnt record the midi data when using a lfo. If you cant record it and tweak it after as midi automation then you are limited to recording everything as audio. Because it will never play back the same twice. And exports would be different too. So can you record all modulation triggered by LFOs as midi in Ableton? Would like to know how. 👍🏻
k-devices is highly underrated! awesome m4l devices will you also be checking out the phoenix bundle? would love to hear/see your take on shaper 2 especially :)
I haven't taken the plunge into modular yet, but it seems like this adds a bit of that sauce into Ableton? I'm sure there's plenty more magic to it, but in my head modular is just "LFO all the things".
Modular is definitely "LFO all the things" but it's that and much more when you get into generative patching. I love my modular setup, it's my zen machine.
Just seems that way because he’s reviewing stuff he likes. You can also look at HOW he’s doing things with the plugins he’s reviews and try to accomplish similar techniques on your own gear/platform. Example: LFO’s controlling LFO’s is something you can try in VCV Rack for free.

I don't know anything about music making (or modulators for that matter) but I really enjoy watching and listening to you showing these tools off

An awesome track again, where are the vinyls of all those songs ???
Just noticed that the ‘voltage’ devices can also work with es9. Great find! Thnx Jeremy

Always wondered if you could route the default Ableton LFO (or this new LFOH/O) to modulate MIDI CC values and treat it as MIDI modulation...

wow the demos of that are wild
When the jam session at the end all came together I started levitating
very cool!
I just got this, Ableton is now modular

Yes
This is like a slightly better version of Phase plant by kilohearts if you ask me
As a Bitwig user. M4L is the feature i miss so badly in Bitwig
Are all the parameters automatable? I find a problem with ableton’s LFO is that you can’t automate the MIN and MAX values for it.
I like it when it’s PWM without the P
Its just Bitwig ;)
This channel has just turned into a series of well done ads

@@TheRealBobFrankly You can also do LFOs controlling LFOs in Ableton with just the basic Max4Live LFO thingy.
