well its pretty much conservative. this stuff hasnt really changend since the 90s.
that's not true. especially sound design-wise this type of techno has definitely evolved and is still evolving.. i don't think you were able to listen to a set on a precise sound design level like this in the 90s
so the genre is envolving because the soundsystems are better now and new mastering methods bring even clearer sound? common, thats silly and you know it.
dont get me wrong, ppl dont want their techno to be changed. they think its fine and thats fine, but calling this "future music" is pretty much odd in 2017
No it is evolving because it once was mainly dance music that's enjoyed in its rawness and energy and now (yes also because of better soundsystems) the focus of producers (in some areas of techno, which I mean by the evolved one's) is on creating new and complex sound scapes and experimenting with new methods of mixing, so the increasing production quality has become part of the music writing... You may not notice if you haven't paid attention to the different styles of production. But the production is a big part of music in general, especially in electronic music

the production qualitiy is of course a thing, but even that is already 15 years old stuff. the genre that envolved out of that was minimal, and we are all glad that this period is over. now its all renaissance. disco, wave, techno, house even jungle and DnB. all is coming back at the moment. its not future music, its not new, its not even envolved. the sound is clearer and colder. and most of the stuff is a weak shadow of the original stuff
i will never understand why ppl love that german ostgut styled techno so much. its really boring and average tool music with simple arrangements, endless loops and a dull angst-atmosphere. maybe its because its easy to hear and still gives you the feeling that youre somehow edgy and cool..
and dont get me wrong, i love techno .but this makes me sad.

Sounds like it's clipping around 10 min... Sweet analog kind of clipping, but still so rough in the red. Is it supposed to be so or it's just bad sound tech job?

Nah, if you listen to other recordings from them (or see them live) its an intentional effect--they're either running some dedicated saturation/distortion units, or just overdriving their mixer.
Using analog mixer you’re supposed to hit the red to get harmonic distortion solid techno
