Living soil grows the best quality imo. I've been incorporating a lot of my homemade ferments into my regimen and since I started doing that I've noticed a fairly decent increase in not only the terpene profiles but the amount of trichomes as well. Organic is the way to go.
Speak with like someone who has grown a year. The growing environment dictates the conditions. The growers expected outcome dictates growing style. Growing in a basement and attic area for example may not be the perfect environment to grow in dirt. Just two examples.

On my first grow this season in CT , I have 3 rare dankness #1 plants and a what is believed to be a lemon skunk, 7 gallon pots in a greenhouse under the sun in living organic soil top dressed with all organic stuff fish bone meal, worm castings etc….plants are amazing though 7-8 ft tall in full flower Mode, I have no other grow to compare to but I think it’s doing well ,I use Coast of Maine products and have had good luck so far love the channel for information for a new grower like me it’s a big help Thankyou
I started out with Coast of Maine Stonington blend. That soil worked very well. Their lobster compost is very good also. Since then I've switched over to running no till with bigger pots using Buildasoil soil and inputs. I suggest going with as big of a pot as you can. I went from 10 gallons to 20s and 30s and seen a roughly 40-60% increase in yeilds just from going to a bigger pot size.
Definitely plan on steeping Up to build a soil products for next year and an indoor grow over the winter, coast of Maine definitely treated me good but the build a soil way is more renewable and rechargeable with their products so definitely will tap into those resources thanks!!
I had my stash in the freezer for over a year. I took some out and tried it after a few hours. It was still really good. Highly suggest it. Like storing frozen veggies.
Im glad your stash was still really good but i think youll find most people in the community dont like freezing their stash cause it kinda makes the trichomes fall off the flower but hey if it works for ya then more power to ya

This is the way I’m all about Notal in organic growing and it’s because it’s for the better of the earth not just for better results but if we want to fix the earth and have a future for the kids that I don’t even have yet we must go natural! Been making my own compost bin for three or four years now and it breaks down my kitchen scraps with no issues
@@thedank4313 actually it is proven that its better for not only the esrth but also for anyone who consumes it unless sourced incorrectly the youre correct, but when done correctly it may be the only way to save the soils and save the earth, we need to bring back the life in the soil thats been depleted from poor practices,
Just wanted to put in some input I've been keeping my bud in the fridge for the past year and I've never had buds stay fresher longer it's still smokes pretty much like the day I got it with little terpene loss. I am a connoisseur of sorts and you can definitely trust my judgment try it out for yourself. And also I found that the freezer keeps it the way it is unchanged completely. And completely preserves teps and freshness. And moisture content will not change at all frozen . Try it out
8 minutes in and I'm mind blown, I had a really bad infestation of aphids and my plants reacted with a terpene profile I've never seen from that strain.
I finally have good genetics for the first time and I went all in on building my soil from scratch. two of my autos are plumpin up nicely and I have 4 more weeks to go, Photos are nice and green, My worm bin is the engine block of my soil.
Rippin on a Strawberry Banana knuckler! Big phat thing Lol from Ontario...Good tips one thing missed and not sure if everyone does this but if your cuttings stem is a bit hard you can scrape it lightly after cutting on a 45 then dip in clone gel or whatever you use and stick it in a cube
Excellent info... I'm in Las Vegas as well. I'm a indoor grower and this was much needed info, I want to switch to organic. But I'm still a rookie grower! So I'm learning before I make that move! Thank you again for the info 💪🏾💨
thank you Chris for another great episode ..you deserve the best from your grows. I have your same problem , top layer of soil is drying fast..(I bottom feed plants with water only) I use this trick now: mulch (rice hulls and malted barley) and on top of it one 3mm capillary mat or 2-3 x1mm capillary mats. (I use flora flex mats) I wet them once every 3-4 days and it stays wet for much longer than without it. I also noticed less less fungus gnats (no larvae in the soil) or flies around my plant now. Maybe I am wrong but seems to work for me.

Try it out
My go to grow guide Mr grow it massive help informational knowledge #1 watching and learning from New Zealand 🇳🇿

She is the new captain planet, one compost at a time!
The intro got my attention right away. Thank you for another great episode, Chris. 💚🌱
8 minutes in and I'm mind blown, I had a really bad infestation of aphids and my plants reacted with a terpene profile I've never seen from that strain.
Cool! Thank you for the knowledge!
Keep up with the good info guys you’ll are great. 🌴🌲🍀
Pleasant chat thank you both
She was fantastic learned so much from this video. Thank you both!
I use a composite compost tea and it’s a beautiful thing. She’s so right!
I finally have good genetics for the first time and I went all in on building my soil from scratch. two of my autos are plumpin up nicely and I have 4 more weeks to go, Photos are nice and green, My worm bin is the engine block of my soil.
I Kno the feeling. My bitches r huge so damn fast. Just amazing the genes. I always had garbage. Now I understand what other folks r talking about.
Great information! Loved this episode! This is how I grow 100 percent!!
Another great episode Chris, well done man. She's awesome!

BEAUTIFUL AND SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE I LIKE HER
What a cool person and amazing teacher. I'm late to these vids but thanks for providing such valuable info for free.
I can only think of what the convo would be like if Alexandria spoke to "Build a soil". top info Chris.
Excellent info... I'm in Las Vegas as well. I'm a indoor grower and this was much needed info, I want to switch to organic. But I'm still a rookie grower! So I'm learning before I make that move! Thank you again for the info 💪🏾💨
💚👍 great show and great info, I would throw away my grow mind , if I had hers. Smart chick!💚👍Thanks too you both.✌
thank you Chris for another great episode ..you deserve the best from your grows.
