    I am 46XX,46XY
    Thank you for your support
God never rejected who I am only this world has.
Forgiveness is always my major strength when I am rejected by my own earthly family because I was born both sexes then normalized to only one sex in order to bring comfort to those who refuse to accept the fact that we exist.
Lying is a sin we exist and it’s ok that we do. Let us decide who we are. This is all I ask

That is so sad how cruel people can be. No one has the right to judge how a person was born. And to be conceited in their own lazy ignorance to lack the ability to be nurturing is even worse. I am happy for you that you don't have bitterness in your heart. You are truly wonderful and special. Don't ever let pride rule your heart. Let humbleness and love be at your core.

I AM AND WAS BORN INTERSXED. THE CHURCH HAS BEEN THE WORST ENEMY AGAINST MY BIOLOGICAL MAKEUP. I HAVE STRUGGLED WITH the Church for years. They even made me prive with Medical Documentation for my Condition. Knowing I really Love God, I worship Him but they really hurt me. Judged me, scorned me and criticized me. I want to come forward.

Kids need to be taught that people can be born intersex, it's nothing to do with sexuality or sexual behaviours, it's biology and therefore not unsuitable for kids to learn about or know. Awareness leads to understanding, and then to acceptance. How dare any of us judge how any other human being was born? We have no right at all to do so. Love is what we should be displaying to one another, judgement, condemnation or denial are not our mandate.

Children do NOT need to be taught about a birth defect , they need to be left alone to have a care free childhood for as long as possible .children have a natural way of sorting out differences if it arises in there lives . This intersex birth defect is rare , the women is lying when she says it is not rare . I find American mind set extremely interfering to the point of being very intrusive , seems they just can’t mind there business EVER.

@@simpaticaism are your views consistent for other "birth defects"? Disability, impairment, facial or body differences? Do we not teach kids about any of these things? Kids live in a world filled with different types of people, not teaching them that leaves them unprepared to deal with those differences when they encounter them.

@@getmotivated1707 you missed the very point I made , CHILDREN make these discoveries as children growing up with all types of children who are different from themselves , they are neither stupid or blind . Children will ask if they want to know about anything that’s on their minds, they don’t need adults to jump the gun and fill their heads with issues they are NOT ready for . That is what groomers do .

That you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
We are also made in the image of God.
How is inersex against the church and the bible from the very scriptures?

I was born with hypospadias and had no urethra opening and had my first operation the day I was born. It was was a very small opening maybe 1 mm maximum and I was very insecure about it. My Grandpa was a preacher and I attended church for the first 16 years until I was old enough to get a job away from home. My church was very unusual in that when we were children they gave us New Testaments and told us to read the old testament for history and live our lives by the new testament. I have not found a church like that since most spend their time preaching from the old testament which is from the Jewish Torah and this doesn't make them Christian's! When I was 30 years old a urologist discovered my small opening and operated on it to opened it up. At 67 years old it was discovered that I had a Baseball size Bladder stone, that I most likely had from birth, I was under anesthesia for 8 hrs while they laser blasted it. I learned about hypospadias by reading the Merck Manual in the library and about Intersex by searching Wikipedia then I discovered the causes in Wikipedia I have Stub Thumb on my right hand with a swirl fingerprint, all the others are loops. This means I am a chimera with my tween sister.

Amen to this speech! It is time that the church as well as society as a whole learn to accept not just intersex people and those who are gay, lesbian, queer, and bisexual, but anyone who may be different in one way or another. It doesn't matter if you are disabled, it doesn't matter if you are autistic, it doesn't matter if you are intersex, etc. The world and the church need to accept our differences no matter what without shame, without fear of hell, without calling us sinners, and without forcing us to change who we are when God supposedly loves us just as we are because we are always told that He created us and gave us life. if God hates who we are and how we were born, than why did He allows us to exist?

It's sad how we've tried so hard to ignore the fact that there are as many people born with mixed genders as there are those with red hair. We need to be more mature than that. Children should never be mutilated for the sake of society's embarrassment of some supposed standard. I look forward to the age when we admit we cannot tell someone what their gender ID is and so assume they are intersex until we do have that ability via technology. Treat people, regardless of their bodies or minds, as you would like to be treated. namaste

Val Hiebert, How real and clear you make it. Thank you for this candid, comprehensive
exposure of an (at best ) only partially understood condition, so many millions are born with.
That such persons, due to the limited understanding / acceptance of their state, by their
parents, guardians, public at large, have had till recently, been surgically altered, mostly
with no say in the matter. Apart from the physical agony, they have suffered the pain of
rejection, due only to appearing different from the norm, in many ways.
Talk about man’s inhumanity to man. Talks like yours are vitally needed to right the
wrongs committed by the improperly informed or by perverse persons. Supporting such
persons has to be every nation’s policy the way that the LGBT+ is now accepted and
protected. Schoolchildren should also be taught to care for such ‘special’ persons, as
they would for the old / invalids. Understanding only, can rectify such wrongs.
And what took us so long???

Extremely well done presentation of the issue of intersex and the church. I find the logic of Matt 19:12 to be helpful, viz., however God made them in the beginning, it is not necessarily the way he makes them now. As an aside, to make oneself a eunuch for the kingdom of heaven's sake is to intentionally take on a kind of spiritually intersex role. But regardless, natural intersex must be viewed by the church as a good and natural thing.

Daphany DuBois Read it. Not sure God wants people to have a sex reassignment. Too me they are eunuchs. Not a eunuchs as you described. Considering both. Hate how the lgbt tried to claim them as gay. You say it is imposible for them to be so...maybe that is why you shouldn't perform surgeries on them. Pidgeon speaks was born intersex, operated on, feels he/she was improperly identified with the sex reassignment ...and now identifies as gay.... So maybe just leave their body alone. You don't perform surgery on down syndrome folks just because they were born that way so maybe forced sex reassignment at birth isn't wise either.

Perhaps this idea that there is a "true" sex may be an erroneous assumption. I think that was one of Val Hiebert's main points, that we may not always be able to identify a sex that a person has. In other words, perhaps you may not _have_ a "true" sex. If haven't already, perhaps you might want do what you can to get genetic testing? That will tell you what your genotype is. That may give you some information about what is going on, on a cellular level, on a level too small to be seen without a powerful microscope, information that you can not see by looking at your overall physical form (phenotype), your feelings, and your behavior.

This should make people rethink what they have been taught about the LGBTAs. After all, we have seen people born with extra limbs, conjoined, limbs that are not fully formed. How is it that religions can not accept that people are born into their orientation? Is their need to be right, or what they were taught right, overthrow science and medical history? I have met an intersex person. By looking at her you would think she was trans. But she is not. She was born with both genitalia. Her mind is female. I am asexual and aromantic. I only mention that because I was a Christian. I was often told that I was supposed to marry and have kids when deep inside I prayed that I would never be with someone I did not love. Well, I am now agnostic and better for it. I no longer think that the bible is the word of god. I don't even know if there is a god or not. But I do believe that there is some neutral higher power that really does not care about stuff like that. It does not want or need our worship or religion. It accepts us for who we are. That power created me to be alone and happy. It created gay people. It created straight people. That was it's job, creation. What we do with that, and how we treat each other is up to us.

I also have a very strong aversion to sexual orientation being made a part of the discussion of intersex people. Your sex and your sexuality are two different things, there is no need to conflate the two things. Doing so makes it harder to teach children about the existence of this biological phenomenon, sexual activity has no place in the basic discussion of biological sex. The sexualisation and/or fetishising of a biological reality is unfair and harmful, intersex and transgender are not sexual orientations, we need to stop speaking as if they are the same as LGB or Q.

      Pray that I will.
      Silence no more.
      In Jesus Name.

I heartily agree, Val, that Bible-believing Christians should love and respect all fellow humans as created in God's image, regardless of what they say, do or believe, or what crosses they bear, including stigma from others or birth anomalies (e.g., cleft pallets, spina bifida, intersex genitals, etc.).
I also agree with Jesus that "in the beginning God made them male and female" (Matt. 19:4), regardless of Alfred Kinsey's spectum of sexual orientations or John Money's notion that gender is socially constructed.
Don't you suggest male and female binary genders when you speak of a baby with a mico-penis (or enlarged clitoris?) and ovaries? When you describe such people as "unwelcome" and "unwanted" in our churches, are you merely parroting the understandings of secularists, or are you reporting the "feelings" of these people and their parents? Over the years I have spoken from the pulpits of hundreds of Canadian and American churches, and some in Europe and India. I have yet to encounter one that does not welcome everyone. I don't know how others there felt, but I know I've always felt welcome, whether I was speaking or not. Is your title not a category mistake to confuse "feeling" welcome with "being" welcome?

You have made a terrible Bible and logic error. My guess is that the logic part won't bother you, but the Bible part possibly will. You refer, as Christians so often do, to how God made them in the beginning. But we don't live 'in the beginning,' we live now, just as Jesus acknowledged in Matt 19:12 in referring to "eunuchs which were so born..." Furthermore, to make yourself a eunuch for the kingdom of heaven's sake is to intentionally take on a kind of spiritually intersex role. The implication of the video is absolutely correct, intersex is not a 'bad' thing, no matter how you look at it.

This condition has been around for a very long time. Intersex is a biological state and is proven by science. We have never proven the etiology of homosexuality. I'm not sure I will be alive when it is truly found but I wish I knew the answer.

This isn't a gay issue, but ignorant people such as yourself think it's a gay issue! They put it under the umbrella to try to categories intersex under transgender, but it's not the same!

_“It’s not a condition of the mind/how you feel”_
That’s a definition that you made up yourself and isn’t actually what LGBTQ+ is about. It isn’t about the self-perception of gender and sexuality alone, or a “condition of the mind.” It’s about the individuals whose harmless existence and way of life defies what is considered the standard binary of “man and woman,” be it because of people being attracted to the same sex rather than the opposite, people lacking attraction and desire of any sort, people whose gender identity differs from their birth sex, or people whose birth sex lies somehow in between the binary.
In other words, what all of these have in common is that they break the model of “man and woman,” whether it’s “man and man” “woman and woman” “man/woman and neither” “man/woman and both” “man to woman” “woman to man” “woman/man to neither” or just “neither” in the first place. So, by the _actual_ definition of what LGBTQ+ is about, intersex _does_ qualify.

How do I approach this ?
I’m trying to make sense of the two gender model , presented in the Bible , and reality . And then who the hell came up with came up with the only two gender rule , that everyone abides by .
Then to really muddy the water , there are the transgender community . Witch god did not create ! Psychologists may try to lump them together like everyone else but that hipocricy needs to be dis avoud .
And then making this change known in the Bible wielding community !
You know the Catholic Church did this , you do know this , don’t you ?
    How utterly barbaric !
Oh , don’t get me wrong , because there are some truths in the Bible . But this isn’t one of them . This is (I suspect) the opinion of a misguided monk .
