To a world of thorn and thistle Shadowed still by Eden's fall On a night so unexpected Enters the Lord of all In a cold and stony manger Swaddled in a linen cloth Into darkness, into danger Born now is Heaven's Love Holy hands with fragile fingers Our redemption in His veins To a world of thorn and thistle Jesus came Child of Heaven, Man of Sorrows Bitter is the earth's betrayal Soon our pride will be the hammer My sin will be the nail Holy hands with fragile fingers Our redemption in his veins To a world of thorn and thistle Jesus came See how a rose is blooming Breaks through the hardened ground Sweet fragrance fills the winter air Its thorn a Savior's crown Oh rejoice he comes to rescue Our redemption in His veins To a world of thorn and thistle Jesus came
This is the first time I've heard this hauntingly beautiful, heart-wrenching song, and it's already a favorite! Thank you, Darren and friends. We Are Messengers never disappoint. God bless you all. ♥️🙏🕯️✝️
Hauntingly beautiful. Vocal and instrumental perfection, and a great expression of the wonder and cost of the incarnation. You can't help but pause in grateful praise & worship.
Beautiful, a new collection of really great Christmas Music is being written by Kristyn right before our eyes. It will be lasting, never ending, for the coming generations.
@@ronradian3802 Kristyn is an extremely talented songwriter, singer, arrangements, and coordinating a live bad with exceptiona recording equipment. Perhaps you’re not aware of her artsy uses of lead vocal and accompaniment, she and the male singer trading between lead abd accompaniment within the song.
She is a song writer and not a good singer when she doesn’t hit the notes…she seems to have no intuition of this or is so egotistical that she thinks she is the bees knees perhaps…..proper singing tuition could help
"Pride is the hammer, sin in the nail..." Oof, that hit me.
To a world of thorn and thistle
Shadowed still by Eden's fall
On a night so unexpected
Enters the Lord of all
In a cold and stony manger
Swaddled in a linen cloth
Into darkness, into danger
Born now is Heaven's Love
Holy hands with fragile fingers
Our redemption in His veins
To a world of thorn and thistle
Jesus came
Child of Heaven, Man of Sorrows
Bitter is the earth's betrayal
Soon our pride will be the hammer
My sin will be the nail
Holy hands with fragile fingers
Our redemption in his veins
To a world of thorn and thistle
Jesus came
See how a rose is blooming
Breaks through the hardened ground
Sweet fragrance fills the winter air
Its thorn a Savior's crown
Oh rejoice he comes to rescue
Our redemption in His veins
To a world of thorn and thistle
Jesus came
Thankyou 😊

“O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.”
Psalms 25:2 (KJV)
Moved to tears knowing the compassion of our Creator.
Thank You Lord for Your servants sharing Your gifts.
This gave me goosebumps - substantive text paired with hauntingly beautiful melody.
What a precious gift to a broken world 🌎. So profound and amazing. I don't have words to explain my thoughts.
He’s not afraid of our mess… the weeds… the pain… what a beautiful savior! 🙌🏻🥹😭 He is love

Correction I think….Kristyn writes words not music….dont think she understands much music as she doesn’t seem to notice her flat singing sadly
@@ronradian3802 We are in disagreement on this.
Can I suggest you listen carefully and you will see or hear should I say that notes are not correctly sung?
