This was a tribute to Screaming Jay Hawkins whose picture was on the candle that she was holding at the beginning of the video. Angelina is the most complete young artist we have in the world today! Many who sing well, but we can ask them if they can switch credibly between jazz, edm, pop, country, and classical music in no time. In addition to her beautiful voice, you also have a unique communication ability. After Angelina has sung a cover song, I rather continue on her and forget the original artist. Not that surprising when you realize she began singing jazz at 1-1/2. When she was 7 and won Norway's Got Talent her auditions included one of Billie Holiday's 'Gloomy Sunday'. Listen to both versions and you will swear Billie is reincarnated in Angelina. It's truly mind-boggling. The great Julie Andrews, famous for singing in The Sound of Music had 4 octave range. Angelina had just turned 9 when she produced (yes, this is her arrangement) this homage to the composer of this song, Screamin' Jay Hawkins (1956). Hence, the black and white production. Angelina will be a Superstar in the next 10 years, and I believe THE singer of her generation. Millions of people will discover this MASTERPIECE! (almost 8M views on YT now). One can argue, as you said, that this is the best thing she has ever done. But before making a statement like that, you would need to see the 130+ performances in her library of song, which I have. There are so many Fantastic performances by Angelina, that I think it's impossible to say which is best. I've tried to do that, and I now have it whittled down to about 25 performances. That's how consistently good she is. And the beauty of following her performances chronologically, is that you can literally see her growth as an artist. Angelina was certainly born with a gift, but so are a lot of others. The difference is that she took that gift from first discovering it, and has spent her life honing and developing it. From one perspective, you could say this is her destiny. She's 14 now, but has spent almost 90% of her life becoming the artist that you now see. I don't deny her "God given" talent. The only thing I don't like about this reaction is that you took your headphones out and started talking before she was done singing, I know it was only the last 20 or so of seconds of the song, but still.
What we are hearing and what they are hearing are not in sync that is why it appears they are talking over what we would consider crucial parts but if they recorded it over to fix the problem it would not be her first reaction

Angelina is the most complete young artist we have in the world today! Many who sing well, but we can ask them if they can switch credibly between jazz, edm, pop, country, and classical music in no time. In addition to her beautiful voice, you also have a unique communication ability. After Angelina has sung a cover song, I rather continue on her and forget the original artist. And she's still only 15 years old.

Angelina had just turned 9 when she produced (yes, this is her arrangement) this homage to the composer of this song, Screamin' Jay Hawkins (1956). Hence, the black and white production. Angelina will be a Superstar in the next 10 years, and I believe THE singer of her generation. Millions of people will discover this MASTERPIECE! (almost 8M views on YT now). One can argue, as you said, that this is the best thing she has ever done. But before making a statement like that, you would need to see the 130+ performances in her library of song, which I have. There are so many Fantastic performances by Angelina, that I think it's impossible to say which is best. I've tried to do that, and I now have it whittled down to about 25 performances. That's how consistently good she is. And the beauty of following her performances chronologically, is that you can literally see her growth as an artist. Angelina was certainly born with a gift, but so are a lot of others. The difference is that she took that gift from first discovering it, and has spent her life honing and developing it. From one perspective, you could say this is her destiny. She's 14 now, but has spent almost 90% of her life becoming the artist that you now see. I don't deny her "God given" talent. But it is her focus, determination, and dedication that sets her apart. And oh yeah, she also happens to be an incredibly decent human being: humble, kind, caring, generous, unassuming, and funny. The only thing I don't like about this reaction is that you took your headphones out and started talking before she was done singing, I know it was only the last 20 or so of seconds of the song, but still.
