I saw Chris Adler in a drum clinic once. He talked about writing drum parts in the studio that he shouldn't have, because he struggles with them live. I believe this is one of those cases. And if you ever get the chance to meet him, please do, he is the most down to earth professional musician I've ever met. Super friendly, humble, and easy to talk to. And he is a beast on the drums as well. So glad to have his autograph hanging in my living room.
