Thanks, Alex, for a great year-end compilation, and often for braving the cold for us as we watch in the warm comfort of our homes. I hope you have a happy new year with lots more aircraft to choose from.
absolutely brilliant filming. This must be more than just a "Hobby". For all its worth Alex, I enjoyed every second of this video and the 2022. Which strangely enough, I watched first. All the hoopla in Amsterdam in 2014 when TUI got their first dreamliner. Good grief, almost 8 years ago.
Was a great year at Calgary and was so happy to be in Calgary myself for a month and a half of a fantastic aviation year, hopefully not long until I'm back again!
Alex as per usual that is one great installment, A number of surprises which is always appreciated, going to view this one a couple more times because you packed so much in there. Thanks
I adore the Electra, so nice to see them still flying. Even if it is with Buffalo... My Grandfather was an ATC from 1960-1994 with the CAF and he had a ton of stories about Buffalo pilots.
It’s unfortunate that you didn’t get to see the Il-76 that came here just a few days ago. It stayed here for a full day before departing, though it unfortunately departed and landed at 7 AM. I must say though, hopefully 2022 is a much more interesting year for aviation (and especially more lucky for me lmao).
Thanks for a lovely video and for the excellent filming with many shots looking as if they were pulled straight off flight sim. Nice fluid tripod pans - guess you're using a zoom demand too? Keep up the great work!
@@sampetley1322 That is correct. Korean Air Cargo flies here once a month with 747-8s, and Cargolux flies here every two to three weeks. Unfortunately, most of their visits are at night time.
Yeah, pretty thin year for talent but at least you got great captures of the little bit there was. The IL-76 will always be in my personal top 5. 👌🏼 Like a cooler, more interesting Starlifter….
I was actually pretty unhappy to see the 737-max return. I don't like the aircraft and don't trust it. Unfortunately it is really hard to avoid it now in Canada due to the unfortunate fact that also Air Canada & Flair air fly this aircraft.
The AN 124 drew a crowd? Lol. Right. You don't need to embellish the reality of plane spotting at a hub city, at best, despite the length of 35R/17L. YYC is decades from being a destination vs hub.
Great video Alex. I was one of the TUI 78 pilots lucky enough to visit Calgary in April. What a wonderful city!
the pilot waving at 9:52 made me so happy
Cheers to a better 2022
Same to you!
The commentary is appreciated.
Better than most if not all videos from yyc
Hope for all that The next year 2022 will be better for travelling. See you next year YYC! 👍❤️🇩🇪 Thank you for Sharing your Video The best of 2021!
Beautiful livery,love the little -200's.
Cool video with a lot of interesting airlines and aircraft. Like the length at 20:21, clever lol.

That An-12 is so loud I love it

I saw a AN 124 at YYC just a few days ago. Really cool plane.
Thank you Alex for this recap of the year. Beautifully done. I have subscribed.

Great look back! 🥂to a better 2022 🤞🤞🤞 so we all can get back into the air and you can bring us even more unique aircraft! 👍✌️
I saw the A400m.
I didn't look close enough as I was driving.
I thought it was a C-130 at first.
So cool thanks Alex!!
Good production! Thank you! I AM…. ENTERTAINED! Watching from YYC
Wonderful plane spotting, I try to do the same at YEG by the Castel race way.
Excellent video & love the Trans Canada livery!
Great job Alex.
THank you Alex for nice summary! Happy New Year! See you in 2022!

Well done. Good camera work and good curation.

Fantastic yearly profile Alex. I’ve subscribed and keep up the great work.
Awesome video!
Hi Owen!
Thank you for this amazing high quality video 😎👍

I can’t believe I missed the Electra all Though i think I might have seen it in the air

Awesome aviation compilation!
Great video Alex.
I also saw an Volga-Dnepr IL-76 at hamilton this summer :)
Great video. Thanks
Hi I’m from Calgary and what side are you on at yyc cause you have really good views of the planes
West Jet Direct flight to Brazil looks interesting, just leaving the hint here :p.
Nice vid! Do you have any YYZ - The Best Of 1981 - Moving Pictures?
Great video compilation of the year ! Were there no 747’s that landed at yyc this year ?
As far as I know we only had the usual ones, such as Korean Air and Cargolux.

Amazing video! Always the best! What camera are you using to get such clear night shots?
Great Video
Brilliant!
Great video. I wish Qatar airways flew to YYC. Amazing fleet.
why does the Antonov at the end of the video smoke so much?
Is that Antanov the same one that is currently grounded here because of the Russian war on Ukraine?
