Nice presentation with two big mistakes: 1. As somebody already mentioned before NIRVANA is a buddhist term and it is a little different than MOKSHA (or MUKTI) of hinduism. 2. You've said at the beginning when started with hinduism that they "believe that they are many forms of 1 God" and then you went to Judaism and said it "is the first monotheistic religion". That is a contradiction. If you believe in different manifestations of ONE God - (one=mono) - you are a monotheistic religion. Same as God is the "bush" as manifested to Moses and also God is Jesus as manifested later on after Moses. No worries - the misconception of hindu being polytheistic is pretty common. Although you cannot grasp all "hindu" traditions under one umbrella (some of them being totally opposite to one another) - you have to consider the majority when referring to hinduism - and the majority is Vaishnavism (over 70%) - and it is as monotheistic and panentheistic as christianity or judaism. Other than that - great summary of major world religions, quite impressive for a 12 min presentation. (I also think by "the writings of Jesus" you meant "the writings about Jesus")

Yeah thats very true i am a muslim i always thinks that when everyone talking about muslims they talk that islam started after the holy muhammed sallallahu alaihi vasslam , and he was the last one but no one focuses on the thing that if he is last then there are prophets prior to him and thats what you mean we believe that there are approx 1.15 lakh prophets and among them some are moses,abraham, jesus,adam etc,.and among them adam was the first prophet and human and muhammed sallallahu alaihi vasslam was the last one.
It's a claim. Mohammed sought his legitimacy by tying his god to the god of the Jews and Christians while claiming to be last prophet and the fulfillment of both those faith. Its a claim not a fact. It's a belief not a truth.

Sorry my brother. But I never started religion to explain things I didn't understand, God is not my explanation for what I don't know. God found me. God loved me. God saved my life and catered for my well-being. I never had any questions infact, I didn't care. I wasn't aware. I wasn't interested in things beyond what I can absolutely prove and be sure of. When things got bad I prayed, I went to church and for me that was what Christianity and God was about. But God Jehovah Yahweh is beyond that. He is love. Genuine true love. My maker, my keeper. It's not that he is all powerful and all knowing that keeps me grounded in life and in him. But his remarkable love, care and purest intentions.He is absolute. Where all starts and ends. Look into the “Shroud of Turin”. It might give you a little more insight; there are multiple videos revolving around this topic, but the evidence is there. Also if you want something else, look into what “Laminin” is and it’s role for us as fleshy beings. Then read Colossians 1:17. As for being born into a diff culture; I was born in the USA, raised by “catholic” parents, more so “lukewarm” I guess you could say, but anyways going through different school systems(where almost all schools promote evolution; a religion in itself honestly) led me to do my own research because many other students left it as it is since a LOT of “science” teachers promote evolution as truth which is pathetic to teach that to young individuals who fear questioning authority, talk about Indoc right ??? but that’s how the government wants us to think, (in my opinion) as if “authority” on this earth should not be questioned. Anyways It wasn’t until I left LAUSD that I’d finally experience something other than evolution and Catholicism. my English teacher had us read a book by Siddhartha which talks about Buddhism, which was interesting, and in a sense there is a relationship between that and the commandments, but the intentions are different. Are they not supposed to teach it because you would rather they are taught that a made up god did it? Why do non muslims always think muslims worship the stone on the corner of the Kabbah. The Kabbah is ONLY and I cannot emphasis this enough a DIRECTION of pray for muslims. We all pray in the direction of the kabbah which also unites US. We do not WORSHIP the kabbah or the stone. We do not worship Mohammad (p.b.u.h) and treat him as one of the mighty messengers of God (arabic word for god is ALLAH). The only thing worthy of worship is ALLAH the one and only creator of the universe. We believe in Jesus (he is NOT dead and will be coming in his second coming) and all the prophets including Moses (p.b.u.h - peace be upon him).
I guess he's only talking about the largest five based on population, so the Greek Orthodox Church simply don't have enough numbers, and no one really "believes" in the old Greek mythologies today.
Curious but does social conditioning connect with religiosity? Why does society do this in socialization? Is it to create order and structure in a society? I took a basic sociology class a while ago. Buddhism has no personal God, Substituting the phrase Ultimate Reality, with the word God is a really poor translation. It is the Christianisation of canon. Perhaps translating desire instead as dissatisfaction, would be better. In numbers of people Judaism isn't in the top ten. It is considered again, a major world religion because it has the founding principles of Christianity. This is the Christian view of other faiths.

One clarification. Islam is actually the oldest religion and it started with Prophet Adam (as). Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the last and final messenger of Islam, not the founder of Islam and Islam was completed about 1400 years ago in hijaz (today known as saudi arabia).
Again, a claim not a historicsl fact. Islam was founded by Mohammed who took concepts from other religions. There were no Muslims before Mohammed. There were monotheist but they did not follow the same teaching of Mohammed. It's quite annoying but this fundamentally dishonest.
This may be off topic but is food for thought. To understand God one should first understand the nature of knowledge. Knowledge inherently has no material form. That which we see is the physical representation of knowledge. For instance, imagine all light bulbs on earth are destroyed, even then the knowledge of the light bulb still exists. Since knowledge inherently has no material form it is eternal (no beginning & no end) Now with that said one needs to understand the different types of knowledge. 1st of course is the knowledge of awareness. We know that it exists because it is what we truly are. We are the knowledge of awareness & since we know that knowledge inherently has no material form, we know that what we truly are is eternal in nature. (no beginning & no end). Our bodies are the physical representation of the knowledge of all it's corresponding parts both big & small. If the knowledge of a thing didn't exist then we would never see the physical representation of it. Now if we know that we are eternal in nature, then we know that some other being did not create us, or even create the knowledge of the light bulb, since it too is inherently eternal (no beginning & no end). However, that is not to say there isn't an intelligence of awareness that has been awakened unto the knowledge of all things. (Effectively making them GOD). One could argue that there is truly only this One knowledge of awareness (GOD) in existence and it is focusing it's awareness in every variation of perceived reality simultaneously. Which effectively makes us all apart of a single whole. For instance imagine you where seeing reality through 2 different bodies at the same time and in one of the bodies you had blocked out your perception of humility & in the other body you blocked out your perception of logical thinking. Now it would still be you perceiving reality through both bodies but individually they would be perceptually separate. On the other hand one could argue that since one piece of knowledge is eternally separate from any other piece of knowledge, like the knowledge of the light bulb is eternally separate from the knowledge of a strawberry. One could argue there is a single unique piece of knowledge (That is you) combined with the knowledge of awareness effectively setting you apart from all others. Eternal none the less.

Well as for Islam you haven't nailed it sir.. not even a bit. first, Islam believes in the previous two religions, Judaism and Christianity, as founded by the prophets mousa and Issa (Jessus). In this sense, islam comes with the final message to complete the previous messages sent by the one and only God, Allah. Second, different from what you say about the Quran as written about Prophet Muhammad, Quran is sent and doctrined by Allah to his massenger muhammad through the angle Jibril. Actually it was Jainism, Budhism,Shaivism and Vaishnavism.Then, after the arrival of the British in India there came the term "Hindu".It was just a term used by the westerners to call the Shaivites and Vaishnavites people altogether for their convenience. Brahmins are not Gods they are priets or intermediates between Gods and people just like priets in Christianity. Nice presentation with two big mistakes: 1. As somebody already mentioned before NIRVANA is a buddhist term and it is a little different than MOKSHA (or MUKTI) of hinduism. 2. You've said at the beginning when started with hinduism that they "believe that they are many forms of 1 God" and then you went to Judaism and said it "is the first monotheistic religion". That is a contradiction. If you believe in different manifestations of ONE God - (one=mono) - you are a monotheistic religion. Same as God is the "bush" as manifested to Moses and also God is Jesus as manifested later on after Moses. No worries - the misconception of hindu being polytheistic is pretty common. Although you cannot grasp all "hindu" traditions under one umbrella (some of them being totally opposite to one another) - you have to consider the majority when referring to hinduism - and the majority is Vaishnavism (over 70%) - and it is as monotheistic and panentheistic as christianity or judaism. Other than that - great summary of major world religions, quite impressive for a 12 min presentation. (I also think by "the writings of Jesus" you meant "the writings about Jesus")

One clarification. Islam is actually the oldest religion and it started with Prophet Adam (as). Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the last and final messenger of Islam, not the founder of Islam and Islam was completed about 1400 years ago in hijaz (today known as saudi arabia).
Again, a claim not a historicsl fact. Islam was founded by Mohammed who took concepts from other religions. There were no Muslims before Mohammed. There were monotheist but they did not follow the same teaching of Mohammed. It's quite annoying but this fundamentally dishonest.

To understand God one should first understand the nature of knowledge. Knowledge inherently has no material form. That which we see is the physical representation of knowledge. For instance, imagine all light bulbs on earth are destroyed, even then the knowledge of the light bulb still exists. Since knowledge inherently has no material form it is eternal (no beginning & no end) Now with that said one needs to understand the different types of knowledge. 1st of course is the knowledge of awareness. We know that it exists because it is what we truly are. We are the knowledge of awareness & since we know that knowledge inherently has no material form, we know that what we truly are is eternal in nature. (no beginning & no end). Our bodies are the physical representation of the knowledge of all it's corresponding parts both big & small. If the knowledge of a thing didn't exist then we would never see the physical representation of it. Now if we know that we are eternal in nature, then we know that some other being did not create us, or even create the knowledge of the light bulb, since it too is inherently eternal (no beginning & no end). However, that is not to say there isn't an intelligence of awareness that has been awakened unto the knowledge of all things. (Effectively making them GOD). One could argue that there is truly only this One knowledge of awareness (GOD) in existence and it is focusing it's awareness in every variation of perceived reality simultaneously. Which effectively makes us all apart of a single whole. For instance imagine you where seeing reality through 2 different bodies at the same time and in one of the bodies you had blocked out your perception of humility & in the other body you blocked out your perception of logical thinking. Now it would still be you perceiving reality through both bodies but individually they would be perceptually separate. On the other hand one could argue that since one piece of knowledge is eternally separate from any other piece of knowledge, like the knowledge of the light bulb is eternally separate from the knowledge of a strawberry. One could argue there is a single unique piece of knowledge (That is you) combined with the knowledge of awareness effectively setting you apart from all others. Eternal none the less.
