As a marine mechanic the craftsman set is amazing. I have 3 plus the smaller sets. The reason they are worth so much is HOW they work. They were designed to be a bolt through design. So no limit on length of threads. The hole allows you to put it on long long long bolts and still reach that nut. ALSO , the way it sis made allows the sockets to grab the straight on a bolt and not the corners. This means if you have a bolt that is rounded off these will still pull that nut or bolt. They also fit whether your bolt is a 6 point or a 12 point plus other designs. Great find. Wish I had seen them first. :-)
I have a set (smaller set) and rarely use them. Got as a gift from a buddy. Surprised at what they were selling for. As stated ^^ above, the design is for "pass-thru" ability. Enjoy the videos.

If you haven't sold the Ken Onion/CKRT, don't sell it. Get a set of smaller needle files, and touch up those serrations. I'll guarantee that it'll be a keeper for you! I have an assisted Gerber/Tanto knife with partially serrated, similar to it, as my everyday carry. It's sooo very useful! KEEP ON GARAGE SAILING!
The serrations themselves are patented. VEFF SERRATIONS, by Tom Veff, master craftsman knife maker himself. He has customized 2 of my EDC knives with them. He has a TH-cam page here.

The more I watch the more educated I get on tools. I have that same case of tools but my was cobalt black and the inside is a grey color. I think my Dad wanted me to be a tool guy too but a lot of my tools still look original. I dabble.

The pasta bowls are quite common here in southern Ontario. ... lots of italians where I live. I picked up 6 of those and 2 of the matching large pasta platter bowls for $1.00 total at a local thrift store. I use them all the time. They are definitely a must have for pasta lovers.
That looked like a Ne'Qwa ornament 1:08 those are so cool. Fantastic finds. You guys must have a rabbit foot in your pockets.

The ratchet set you have is a pass-through socket that you can tighten a nut on long bolts, even feet long !
I have that exact ratchet set and I wouldn't trade it for anything. They don't care if it's a bolt, a nut, or even a stud. They also get on sparkplugs (that you plan on replacing) like nobody's business. For $20 I would recommend he keep it.

I have a passthrough socket set that i bought in 2002 made by Gearwrench, they actually were the company that came up with idea and held the original patent. I bought the 285piece set that listed for $285.00 and i got it on clearance for $58.00 after Christmas. Mine are the chrome and i use them all the time, i still have every piece and it also came in a blow molded case. I love how you, can tighten any length bolt and still get the ratchet off of the thread.

I love the old reels there’s some amazing tech that they don’t make anymore there’s some old open face reels like those that have a little trigger so you don’t actually have to touch the line when you cast cool little feature
