Thank you for the video. I have replaced screens on the Motorola edge plus and 2 essential phones. This looks way more complicated. But I accidentally burnt my screen with a heat gun trying to seat a glass screen protector. (Isn't that ironic?) Now there is a big white spot on the screen. It's the original too and super bright display. Got more compliments on this phone, except for the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. It looks like I'll be watching this video several more times before attempting the replacement. I already had to replace the battery on it because it swelled.

just remove the battery and the charging port area. the other stuff does not need to be removed to replace the LCD

Thanks for the video but need to ask i have my mi mix 3 t fall down but no longer displaying anything on screen its dark but the touch is good i can recieve calls n use fingerprint what might the problem with it not showing anything on screen

Hello I live in USA on December of 2017 I bought this phone., It last for about 6 months. Started getting very hot when charging and suddenly one day the screen became unresponsive. I wiped up deleting everything and still not working. Phone still like new in the box and I just finding today in the closet. What can I do?

I follow everything and the screen worked well for a week. And now the touchscreen won't work, any idea how to fix this?
Billy, you have to check the flex of the touchscreen because i think it has taken off. Let me know... Wish you good luck!
@@MovilonePhoneRepair the flex is fine. I tried to connect my old broken screen and the touchscreen won't work as well. Is the connector on the motherboard broken? @@ it really did work fine for at least a week.
I think that if the fpc were to be broken, I think it would not work for you from the beginning ..You can look with a magnifying glass or microscope ....
Is there a possible fix for the fpc? Or I will need to change the whole motherboard?
@@BillyLian ,It is a micro soldering, it can be replaced; the only serious problem is finding it; on iphone pmotherboards is easier ( lcd fpc and touch fpc) and they are replaced frequently... Let me know if you find it!

I seriously regret glueing the plastic piece. It ruined putting it back together for me as it never fit on quite right.. my advice would be to NOT glue it. It snaps together anyways..

This looks ridiculously fiddly. Far too many tiny parts to take out... Even with the right tools plus a hair dryer I think I'm not risking replacing the lcd myself...

Why you are showing unnecessary steps? Misleading and make it more complicated? A lot of last openings was not necessary at all. At least learn from others!
Jav EBRA , one of the reason of this ¨unnecesary steps¨ is because others are learning from my videos; i prefer to teach too much , instade of missing details. Could you have bothered so much if they were missing details but for teaching everything ???is rare....
