To everyone who is thinking about getting one i clearly say: Get it.
Battery easily makes it through the day, even if playing.
Why need a phonejack? Adapter is with it. Keep the adapter on the earphones and u dont need to change anything.
NFC is something i dont use at all.
Bluetooth range is extremely great.
Display looks awesome, even if its no OLED.
Fingerprint sensor is state of the art.
Android One makes your friends have old software.
Camera is great, even greater if unlocked and flashed with google pixel software.
And 226€ on Amazon for the 4/64 Version is beyond compare.
You own an Iphone? Just sell it and redirect the money. Thats how i did. Worth it ;)
Honestly: Fingerprintsensor is so much faster.. :D

I have one too and I love it as well :D the only problem that I have noticed was that in call volume ... I think it is a little way too low
Mine does Heat while charging. My calling Sound is acutally at 25% and loud enough.
if this phone had 3500-4000 battery would be just perfect...

Does the battery last a full day with heavy use? I am might order one
@@truthbetold89 for me It does not last a full day with heavy usage but my screen on time lasts 4 hours with heavy usage like gaming using mobile data, streaming, social medias. Casual usage may last a full day. It supports fast charging anyways. 😅😂

I have this one and the iPhone 8. I can say that this phone is amazing. I just love it. The camera is crazy good. Front camera is the bomb.

I have the Xiaomi mi a2 with 6 gb ram and 128 gb storage and so far, it seems to be an excellent phone. Apparently, this doesn't seem to be found in any local stores, but you can find them on ebay or amazon. Even comparing this with the Samsung Galaxy s8, there doesn't seem to be much difference between FHD and QHD on a screen that size. It kindof looks like the iPhone X, but much cheaper and probably better value for the dollar.
I've had this phone for a couple of weeks and it has some bugs. I'm not sure if that's the proper term, but just little problems here and there. I'll list a few:
- When I'm in the Spotify app and have paused a song, if I turn the screen, sometimes it would start playing the song again
- When asking for permission for something once, I only had 2 options which said the same thing
- I've downloaded the recommended necessary apps for proper functioning of all features, but somehow today after "downloading" a file through FB messenger, I couldn't open it, and when I went searching for it in my phone, I couldn't find it
There are a few more which I can't remember.
The company I bought it from just said that the issue is that they don't have software support for Europe.
What do you all think?

How long did it take to get your A2 from Gearbest (I'm in US)? I went with the free shipping and no "expedite".

I bought my dad a xiaomi a2 lite and going to upgrade my wife's phone to A2 as well.
This phone would have been perfect if it keept the 4000mh battery of the note 5 + the headphone jack and the SD sloot.
Golday ALB Actually there isn't a drastic difference ,Eventhouth it's 75% difference in capacity ,in use it gives more than 85% .
I know, thats why i said i would be perfect.
But no jack and sd are a NONO for me.

To get 7-8 hour SOT on S9+ I had to go through settings and major power saving tricks. And average 30-50% brightness.
To get 7 out of the box is very good.

Sure mate, my huawei p9 lite 2017 costed about 200 euros and it got a 1080p resolution
My trusty old Redmi 4 Prime broke three days after the release of this phone, now Im just counting the days until it arrives. Super excited because I know that Xiaomi is probably the best value of all smart phones on the market, and although there are some trade offs with the A2, it's essentially a "lite" flagship/pixel phone for $230. Now I had a tough time deciding between the Note 5 vs A2 but I expect that the user experience is probably going to be better on the A2 because of Android One and differences in hardware. They appear to have omitted a lot of "extra" features and taken it down to the most important features of a cell phone, for a minimalist design. My only concern is the durability, because my Redmi 4 was a tank, and Im afraid that the A2 might be delicate, and I will never use a case.
This is a no notch, no nonsense smartphone.
Honestly I really like that this phone doesn't have a notch because it'll have a better looking experience without the drop notch in the way of the content. 😂👌🏾
How is the low-light, indoor and night time photography with this phone??
I have AT&T. I gambled and lost with this phone. Without band 12, it made this phone unusable in my suburban area. I REALLY wish I could have kept this phone.

I got this phone 2 weeks ago for £170 , Man this phone is way better than fucking apple.. I am glad i switched from Apple iphone X (company phone). I use it all day, mostly calls, taking photos and videos (part of my ware-house job). This phone lasts forever. New Iphone X is almost £800 and this one is only £170.
You can't beat that. Get it and you would love it.

I got the MI a2 lite version because it has a bigger battery, a sd slot and a headphone jack. If the MI a2 would had them 3 things I would got it instead. Because the cameras, the hardware and the 6 inch display is still nice to have.
So far I'm not having any problems getting 4g LTE with my carrier Metro by T-Mobile. I also have a Umigdi One as my second line and the cases for the MI a2 lite will work on it. I just can't use the fingerprint scanner on my Umigdi One with a MI a2 lite case on it.

What about the A2 audio quality with the included type c to 3.5mm converter?
It's called a dongle. Which means you can connect the audio jack cord to the end through one side and then plug the USB-C to the phone. 😁😉👌🏾

On paper it's a killer, don't expect it will last a year, software support, just forget about it, and the security?. You get what you pay for. It will be so frustrating when you need it at the most
Hi .. anyway, before I buy theses phone, I do know about mi..A2..Lite version and so on..! after I seriously wake up my need I do know these phone advantage for me or not.....!of course things are not perfect..I bought it cos of build and the camera and sounds too....!I don't need to buy anything,I just used back the dongol and my jbl... earphones will do..a kind of surprised me, the sound came out very .very.. good and great...! trust me...A2 this phone really can buy.Ps.if you can afford them consider F1..poco.i will buy it next round for my F1....! If f2 the price not too far away from F1..I will consider to get F2.

Man. I was undecided between the Mi A2 and the Nokia 7 Plus. Same processor. Both Android One. I finally decided for the Nokia. Some say it is overpriced. But, not everyone has fallen in line to not having a headphone jack. I want one on my phone. I also liked the bigger battery. Maybe I'll pick up the Mi A2 for Christmas.

How is the battery performing??
Using it with 2 Bluetooth devices, and Spotify for about 8 hours with 6hours screen ontime i make it through the day and have like 35% at 2am in the morning.

You might be talking about the lite version of this phone, but this one has 64GB of storage. It'll be around 15GB of system files being used, so that'll leave you like 49GB left for the user storage. 😉😁👌🏾

It's a great bang for your buck phone but you do get some compromises like, no headphone jack, and no sd card slot

A6+ sucks in my opinion. That SD450 is just ridiculous for that price. I only like 3 features on the A6+: Battery, Camera and Display. I would get the Mi A2 over this phone

I hope you give us the battery live with the sim inside the phone. Because I noticed there's no sim at the moment of the review. And we all know this would have a great impact on the battery life.
I use this phone with a SIM, EVERYDAY. But when you do videos, notifications come in like crazy. Thus...remove the SIM card.

It has a dongle that you can connect the USB-C cable to the phone and then the audio jack to the other end by the 3.5mm connector. 😉👌🏾
