  • Today we’re pouring a huge 40 x80 pole barn. We couldn’t get the concrete trucks in there because the doors were to small. We rented this Toro mud buggy tracked concrete buggy. We placed 55 yards of concrete in under 2-1/2 hours. This thing was amazing.

people from other channels that have never used a buggy act like they are slow. *IM HEAR TO TELL U THEY ARE JUST AS FAST AS A PUMP BY THE TIME U DRAG THE HOSES AND THE BIG MESS AT THE END WHEN U PUMP AND THEY GOT CLOGGED 2X* _you save time w a buggy_ if u r pouring a 5.5 slump

How many trips is one yard? The place I have deliver gives me 6min a yard and $50 per 15 min over. I have to get 5 guys to stay in my time and wheelbarrow it 500ft into the back yard

Can you run that over the radiant floor tubing without danger of damage?

We do not use the track buggy if there is tubing in the floor. Probably would kink it.

It doesn't help that much anyway. It'll still crack with wire or rebar or whatever.

    Trailer pump

Yes we use pumps all the time when we have radiant tubing down. I bought an Allen AT-16 track buggy after renting this one a couple times. I got a sweet deal on it used. You can move alot of concrete in a hurry as they hold 16 cubic yards. Thats more than 1/2 yar of concrete in each trip. The pumps are sweet but expensive from the concrete company. Maybe I need to buy one. 👍

@@bondobuilt386 I think you mean it holds 16 cubic feet. Either way, I just learned today that these things exist. Now I have a way of moving 9 yards of large aggregate concrete to the back of my house without a pump. Not sure the rental cost of a concrete pump that can move 3/4" gravel, or if they even exist in my area, but this would surely work. Thank you for posting.

@@rusosure7 No problem we use the Allen all the time now to move dirt and concrete. check out my channel we used it for several pours and prep on there. we even scoop with the mini excavator right into it. 👍

Might want to try a wheeled one. Tracks really tear up the ground. Especially yards
