Not strictly a sewing tool but essential as part of the process - an iron. Trying not to copy Mandy and her seam ripper. Your vlogs are wonderful. It was great to be reminded how to do a couture dart and I’ve made up two grace tops after watching your sew along showing me how to adapt the pattern to ensure it fits me nicely. One of the tops I made up in your Stof Birds on the Wire jersey which I teamed up with the berry sorona linen remnant made into a wrap skirt that I snapped up recently. I got a wow from my husband when I wore it yesterday, so more lots more recommendations and sew alongs please.

My favourite sewing tool is my wooden clapper - my Dad made it for me out of wood that was reclaimed from his village bridge when it was pulled down and replaced many years ago. I’ve just found your TH-cam channel through an Instagram post and have now subscribed. I have so many favourite tools but the one I use most is my frixion erasable pens as these are great for transferring pattern markings to the fabric. I once made the mistake of using to write on bag templates which I planned to laminate - all the writing was erased when going through the laminator haha. I then had to put the templates in the freezer to bring the writing back.
