Hi Steve Warner, I had a question about the end of the last video (video 6) where you said to end with the 2nd finger of your right hand on the C and the 3rd finger of the left hand on the next C down. So my question is do you accompany the left hand 3rd finger C with the 1st finger E with the left hand to begin this section of the song? So last section flows right into this section wether it's your thumb and middle or thumb and index?, it's just that when you ended the last video you said end with one finger on each hand but then when you start this section you suggest two fingers on the left hand the C and E, I'm sorry I was just a lil confused but I think I got it and hey thank you for all of your dedication to teach all of us with these videos, they have been very helpful to me and I thought I would never be able to play this song and I'm flying through it with your lessons and in depth teachings of this song. Thank you so much :)
I think you got it. In video 6 I gave a more final ending just in case you want to stop there (this next part is challenging, after all). But the song actually plays both a C and E in the left hand at that part, as shown in this video.
I didn't realize that until you just said it about wanting to stop at the end of the last video because this part does get challenging indeed. We just obtained an upright piano a while back and so I decided to search this piece on TH-cam, I watched you play and was just in awe how graceful your hands move together in unison. Then I noticed that you had an entire corse of this song and I am so delighted to play this piece after giving up when I was about 15 years old. Which is why I want to thank you for your wonderful playing and dedication to make all of these informative videos, you have really got me further in this piece that I thought I would never get, And plan to keep practicing all the way to the end so I could learn to play as graceful as you one day.
