Sad to keep a top line predator fish in tank unless it's got problems & some sort of fish expert trying to help it which i know seems silly, that Pike needs to go back in the place you caught it, that or eat it.
Living her best life? Haha. Yea just how a prisoner is living their best life. In a small room with someone tossing you food a couple times a day. Isolation
Thats a big project but a pond or a extension to the tank would be very cool with like bait fish, plant and a water or air pump for aeration so she can live comfortably
I know a lot of people are saying release it, but have you ever thought about doing a larger ecosystem style tank mimicing her natural environment? Feel like it'd be a cool project (though expensive). She looks nice and healthy

Up to the point it gets a hold of your hand or fingers then it becomes a matter of how amazing the guy that needs to stitch you back together is!!! Fish that are top predators need to be in the wild not a pet in a tank.
This pike is living a significantly better than 99% of pet fish. A lot of room to move around. Sure the enclosure may not be pretty, but its functional. As long as the fish feels secure and water temps and quality is controlled I see no issue. Everyone, fish don't need rainbow gravel and SpongeBob houses to be happy. We don't need to personify these animals. Nice fat chunky pike eating with gusto in a nice sized enclosure, I don't see a problem. Pike are relatively fragile fish, and reading other comments I've learned it's still alive. It is being cared for well. Good on you man that's a beautiful pike you've raised
Depends on wether yours will take dead or live food when mine was that small she would only take live food so I did live worms every other day with the odd live small fish when I could get them
Should you make a pond for it, the container is big but a pond could have plants and sun light
Let that baby go. That puppy don’t belong in a tank.
No
Lmao no, pet pike funny

God all these geniuses who probably go to the aquarium mad he's got a pet fish
Aquarium animals are born in captivity, this pike was not.
@@cnon.the pike was bred on a fish farm so yes it was born in captivity
Also aquarium animals often have more space.
Godblesscanada is just saying cringe they don’t actually mean. Probably. Maybe.
Needs a pond building
Why? It’s got one already

Why is she not in the wild?
She was bred in a fish farm it is against the law to put her in the river where I live
@@piranhafish interesting stuff, in some parts of Ireland they cull them, horrendous
@@lexingtonlad5745 they eat normal fish and breed rather well so yeah if you get to many you pretty much just have pike left over time

@@piranhafish lol will be like losing a kid too you had her 7 years now ain't you where did you purchase her from
@@13REW lol yeah it would 🙂I got her from a fish farm
@13REW lol like losing a kid. Also like raising a kid in a small bedroom for its whole life. Even prisoners get more room to move around.
Who cares if it's against the law. Most aquarium fish live a better life than this lady
Put live fish in there give her something to chase and play with.. some minnows and maybe some bluegill or perch or somethin.
What a amazing pet
