Very Cool! My child has requested a treasure chest as well. I came across this video and will use it as a step by step guide! Thank you for posting this.
Lovely tutorial I’m going to try and attempt to make it for my daughters birthday! What cake tin did you use? Was it a square tin? And how long would the cake last in the fridge? I’m wanting the cake for Friday x
ruby rose Hiya I just had a big flat tray with deep sides then cut it to shape after cooking it. Buttercream cakes with fondant last a few days but beware putting it in the fridge can make fondant sweat XX hope that helps
Thank you so much that’s really helped and will I just have to use the same mixture amount as you did for your Victoria sponge? I have a tray bake tin but it is a bit bigger than 6x9”
Thank you for the tutorial. Very helpful
Great tutorial! Perfect help for this cake in August, thank you.

Enjoyed watching that very much, beautiful job. Thanks Anna 😊
Thank you so much. I enjoyed making it xxx
Can this be made with out the fondant maybe modeling chocolate
Hello, I'm sure it could and would probably be easier. Thank you for watching
Beautiful
Hi thanks for the tutorial, I will give it a go for my daughter's birthday. How do I get the link for the wood effect? Many thanks x
Love this video. Is it possible to use a real cake for the top part of the cake instead of a dummy cake ?
It would probably be too heavy and slide off the back as there is nothing to anchor it to the cake below. Rice crispy treats is an alternative option.
Where did you get wood mold
I had the same question 😊
Show Anna👏👏👏👏😍😘
Coconut sugar used!?
No?
Let us know.
