You have the best knot instruction videos on the internet.Alot of other channels are tying this knot wrong. Thank you.
The best explanation yet. Thank you.
I love how simply explained this was. Very useful! Thank you so much!!!
I'm really enjoying these videos and every week after I new video I take time to practice the knots from the prior video. I'm even starting to absentmindedly tie them while I watch other videos.
Thanks I like this knot series and I'd like to see more of these type of things in the future
Thank you for the new line.
Well done. Why is it important to have the tails finish on the same side of the bend?
It would be beneficial, along with the knot, to show applications to real life situations in camping, hauling, securing, etc. thanks for a great video.
Great video, thanks!
I'd really like to see some videos on useful knots for rigging up a tarp some time as well :)
Prusik and taught line hitch.
me too
Excellent..you're covered it all.
Love it, keep up the great videos!
Does a quick release work on the double sheet bend?
Nice; I have never seen that one.
If you've seen the bowline then you've seen the sheet bend it's the same knot just tied as a bend or a loop
The sheet bend is essentially the same knot as the bowline - just tied differently and with the dead end terminating at a different part of the knot. In messing around after watching this I've discovered that you can tie the bowline like a sheet bend, but it doesn't look as good under pressure - and you can tie two ropes with the bowline and it seems to have the same outcome. The slipped sheet bend setup works on the bowline, but the double sheet bend is much harder to crack.. eventually got it right by double curling the first bend, but the outcome seems the same with a stronger bowline overall.
good job
Important
what about rope and webbing?
I suppose you figured out by now it works pretty good... works with everything...
