I owned the old one. Love what the 'Wicked Makers' had created with one of them. Maybe Spirit copied it but I'm hapopy about that 'fact' and I'm ready for the new one!!!
I swear they got it from wicked makers I mean spirit needs to credit people when it comes to them being inspired by other people's work but overall, spirit is randomly bringing props again and it's giving me very good nostalgia
Its definitely messed up that Spirit didn't give the Wicked Makers just a little bit of credit for the inspiration of their redesign. I saw their redsign and immediately clicked to see if they credited them and they did not.....just a simple "This new look was inspired by Wicked Makers on TH-cam" would have been nice.
I think I prefer the original slightly because of that simplicity you mentioned. Like it looks so basic and simple it makes it look misleadingly harmless, like you wouldn't expect it to jump up because it looks too much like a makeshift stuffed Halloween prop someone put on their porch. However I do think a redesign is welcome considering it's been the same for so long and it looks pretty good in its own right.
I hate the eyes on Spirit's because they just put the lights wherever and it just makes them look goofy to me. It definitely looks better when they're off. Also from any distance, Spirit's just looks so bootleg and only really looks good up close. I just wish Spirit made their own redesign so it wouldn't look so cheaply copied and wouldn't look pretty bad for the company.
