Fantastic video, many thanks Mick. I’ve got this exact model of John Deere mower (it’s an awesome bit of kit btw if anyone is looking to pick one up), and it won’t start as i think the fuel has gone stale as it’s been sat for a long time not being used . This video is such a great help to show me everything I can do to get it back up and running. Cheers Mick, you’re a star! 😃👍
Good little mower they were. Shame John Deere pulled all the Sabo rotary mowers from the market, is was about the only decent lawn care machine they offered. 👍🏼
That should make someone a nice machine Mick! I have a JS 46 John Deere for my personal mower. It is a commercial grade mower and i love it. Hope you and your family are all well ! 👍🇺🇸
Nice one Mick. Like you said it will be a good mower for a season or two.Compressors alway kick in when they shouldn't lol.I'm trying to find a exhaust for one of them engine and i think they are like gold dust lol. Catch you in the next one.
Mick Love the video mate I have webb 100 petrol mower left petrol In over winter had a real game cleaned carb out still cuts out some time hard to start what do you think about webb 100 any good and do you have any advice for me Phil in stoke
@@themowerman mate, just checked and the belt is knackered, shiny, mostly lost it’s V shape and on top of that was “twisted” … so all in all a good call fella, cheers :). Funny aside while I was doing all that … the drive “speed” adjuster just seems to be a pulley tensioner, and it’s return spring is sooooo strong it pulls the lever to “fast” every time … nothing a few cable ties couldn’t do a temp fix for but a bugger nonetheless :)
I have a Briggs 3.5 on a Hayter Hayterette . the carbie sits on top / in the petrol tank. do you have a part number for a carbie kit. any help would be gratefully received.

@@themowerman pulled it apart and found water in the fuel and muck in the tank and is all clean now. Diaphragm was all ok, no holes and still supple so have reused it. mine was a Spring-Pump Diaphragm type and not the one on e-bay. i think the fiddle fairies had been in there as the spring and cap was installed upside down. all working ok now and have just ordered a muffler NOS £10 as it was rotten. all working now but needs muffler as its a tad loud. 🤣🤣 🤣

For a roller mower made in the US I'm surprised that they all have four wheel mowers over there.🤔
