While the recruitment of overseas nurses can help to address the nursing shortage in the UK, there are concerns about the impact of this practice on developing countries. The migration of nursing staff can exacerbate shortages in developing countries, where healthcare systems may already be struggling to meet the needs of their populations.
This highlights the importance of addressing the underlying factors that contribute to nursing shortages in the UK.
Although overseas recruitment remains an important strategy for addressing the nursing shortage in the UK, also investing in domestic staff and creating a supportive work environment is crucial for the long-term success of the NHS. Unfortunately that investment seems non existent at the moment.

Yes, but is not easy, It would be nice to recruit European nurses, solve the English score, and create a quick path for bureaucracy. Personally, I know Italian colleagues who would like to come and work in the UK. Actually it is too complicate.
