I know they've already announced the ED for the anime, but I feel like *this* should've been the ED instead. It's catchy enough with a sense of melancholy to fit thematically, and has Amiya, Chen and Kal dancing to top it off. That's how you make a viral ED for an anime.
Who's the artist for the actual anime ED?
Different region and culture means different virality.
On the west/western influence maybe, but not sure for east asia, especially JP which is still the largest contributor to Anime sales worldwide
@@redfield7106 I'm mostly saying this because EDs featuring dancing very often go viral in Japan. Kaguya, Kill Me Baby and even Full-Time Wife Escape (non-anime) are good examples

The AK post apocalyptic world with cheerful dance ED is memeable even for JP audience standard, but doesn't match the atmosphere. One reason why the OP is by ReoNa is bcs she's a match for a despair with a slight hint of hope world of AK, not solely because she's famous.

CEOの笑顔が眩しすぎる
A song I never knew I wanted. It was my first time listening to this band, and it's damn good. It hits so close to my heart; the melodies, the harmonies and the lyrics seep through my every cells and make my veins and soul strings vibrate as the music goes. I'm grateful that Arknights has lead me to this song, truly beautiful.

I love how each of them feels different, this was def Amiya's idea and she rehearsed her dance and is having fun with it. Ch'en got dragged into this and doesn't want to be here, she awkwardly shuffles of screen probably to throttle someone laughing in the background. Kal'tsit did not rehearse at all, she just improvised her dance last second on hearing the music because ofc Old Well picked up dancing being alive as long as she has.
Kal dancing is indeed a maiden voyage after all.
Seeing Amiy, Kal'tsit and Chen dancing brings a smile to my face

Absolute amazing vibes all around this song really, a perfect Indie tune going alongside Arknights' main heroines and their dancing is so well-thought-out and so adorable
