Found this one owner Craftsman lawn tractor on Marketplace that we got running and flipped for a small profit. This one was a little hard to part with!
I grew up in the late 80s/early 90s cutting 6 acres with one of these. Seeing this brings back a flood of nostalgia. What a beautiful little machine. Does anyone know the exact model number?
i have the same mower . tecumseh blew up , so i swapped in a briggs 11 hp . trans quit , so i swapped in an old 3 speed . deck rotted away , so i cut off part of fenders and made a 3 point hitch and cultivators to use it in my garden . yep , nearly identical , lol .
@@HilltownCT you shouldn't have any sellers remorse! You doubled your money. And you didn't scalp anyone. Should feel good about that. I live in Colorado. So things are massively inflated is probably why I said that. You did great! Great video as well by the way!
Very similar to my early 90's tractor. Mine was my grandfathers. I don't use it often, and this year it's going to get a new battery, and possibly new battery cables.

That’s a lot of time behind the wheel! I don’t know the model number.
I just bought one exactly like this engine and all for $350 in pretty much the same condition runs great
Those old craftsmans are built like tanks!
They sure were, and I prefer the 5 and 6 speeds over the hydros all day long.
checked out your video because i can get one just like this one and is clean like your with a snow blower for 100 bucks
Better snatch that up!
I just found one for free. Idk where to get parts lol
Nice find!
Nice mower looks like it was cared for pretty good.
Yeah, I sort of regret getting rid of it, but I’ve been spoiled by a hydrostatic trans and power steering :-)
I have one just like this one needs work but runs good
How do you take the Headlight lens out>? I need to clean the inside of them a little bit
My late foster dad had one of those tractors brings back memories those tractors were awesome

@@milehigh3054 Thank you!
Are Tecumseh motors worth less Briggs or Kohler?
Since it hasnt been run in 26 years would it hurt to put a capful of seafoam in gastank
