I feel like the music during the slow mo parts really hammered the information into my soul lol. Best with decent headphones or speakers. Phone speaker isn't enough. Love these tutorials. The rote learning mixed with easy visualization of the sticks are by far better explanations than any other channel I've seen.
Definitely a tricky one as can be done in many different ways. As long as you stall at the apex facing in the direction you arrived so you can push back out. Thanks for doing these man, your channel has become my #1 for some honest and fun FPV time.

I was crashing 4 times a battery trying to learn this the other day... so its basically a flick, turn down into a stall, and then an inversion of the stick commands you used to get into the stall... very cool.. this will brng my crash rate down to only 3 times per battery lol

This is a great demonstration but for anybody struggling make sure you overcook part 1 and look back the way you came. You might want to focus on the tree but that's for the audience, you need to look forward to your rewind path.

@@WillardFPV617 It's just a type of trick where you can be in many different situations and orientations that make it hard to get it perfect. Its important to point out that the quad MUST be oriented correctly during the initial setup in order to thrust you in the opposite direction successfully. I think you did a great job with the simplification.

There's a big portion of this trick left out. The slowing your forward movement As you come towards the object aka tree. you are technically slowly raising your throttle to come to a stop you can see it in the video. We do this all the time when we dive things. we slowly raise our throttle to adjust our proximity next to it. I guess assuming that's already being done since this is an advanced maneuver but I just thought I would mention it. This trick is just too hard to explain with so many cross coordinated movements going on. I love doing them
This whole AI experiment is going to go horribly wrong and I fear we are gonna wind up with a scenario that gave rise to Ultron. Unless mini-Willy is akin to Jarvis at which point we could wind up with a Willy/Vision-esque scenario. What eould that even be called? Villy or Wision?
First upkoad messed up the stick cam, so I had to delete it, redo the entire stick cam in the video because I'm an idiot, render it out (4 hour render thanks to WillyBOT) then upload again 🤦♂️

I usually go to like 30-40%, but I have a big throttle curve so 40% is more like 25%
