- Part 15 of a drive from New York City to Los Angeles from July 8, 2023 - July 22, 2023. This part starts from Alhambra in Los Angeles County, CA and then continues to Santa Monica, CA. I got a little bit lost after missing the exit to stay on I-10, but managed to find my way back to finally complete my drive near the Santa Monica Pier.

A Herculean effort driving from New York City to Santa Monica, California… I have watched all 15 parts… And amazed at your driving skill and composure with so much traffic! I have been a subscriber for quite a while and I’m so glad I found this series because I have crossed from the middle of the country to California many times, but not from New York all the way out to California! Those are some really old-style expressway entrances and exits in LA.
10:19 that's where you missed your exit to the 10. by distance it is a longer route around the downtown LA freeway "box" but usually better traffic conditions.
I want really to visit to their won of those day.

But I'd much rather drive such a beautiful country than fly.
Timestamp 49 minutes: in case you ever are in the area again, for future reference, get off the right exit for Lincoln BLVD and at the end, take a right onto the BLVD. you’ll be in Santa Monica and it’ll bring you down to the downtown area and pier without having to continue in traffic on I-10. If you take a left on the BLVD, you’ll be in Venice .

you don't need to drive 101 to Santa Monica, instead, you can follow 10 and all the way there
Nobody can tell me that this dude had a 20+ hour ride without any entertaiment (music oder podcasts )or conversations. Sure he made some stops but I think I would go crazy.
How don't you just become a truck driver? You will get paid while you keep on driving! Am I right or wrong?
