Best FM Idea of 2023 so far. Maybe doing this as a One v One against other FM Content Creators could work?
I remember there is a group of regular FMM Forum members who play this for different seasons and grow their portfolio in the past. Quite an interesting read.
That's very much in the plans for the future, i have another twist i wanna test out next, but after that i'm definitely gonna bring another creator in for the next one after that!

It would be quite interesting to eventually see regens on this too, seeing an entirely unique career would be fun!
My concern with regens would be the lack of draw for the view with the players not being real, however, with regens i could go absolutely nuts with the story!

I vote that you were a superior agent for Gravenberch. I was surprised the AI beat you with Fabio, he actually had a solid career with Betis.

It really does seem that way, more specifically first team football in a solid league, B-Team games even if they are in a proper league do not seem to have the same affect

Gravenberch - uhhh... bit of a wash, arguably you did better, but comparing mid-table prem and lower-prem + uipper-cship isn't ideal

I amazed that you actually took up my idea I suggested in the comments of the first FM Agent video 😊✌.
Regarding the Carvalho non-Agent timeline...in my experience the worth of a player sykrockets in FM when a team wins something. So having him move to a top club in a weaker league (i.e. Rangers in Scotland) would actually do a lot for his player value and he would get good ratings there too, which then prompts a club from the top 5 leagues to spend proper money on him.
It was an awesome idea! The issue with that for me, was that at the time i was trying to make the moves, Carvalho was demanding wages that were far too high for clubs like Rangers to afford. Once he's released as a free transfer the demands drop so he becomes more attainable. However it does seem that it makes a huge difference and it's something i may try to prioritise in future videos so the AI doesn't mug me off again lol
@@Secondyellowcard Agreed, and the longer the player is without a club the lower his wage demands become.
In my current save I am contemplating signing a clubless Messi just for fun who initially wanted 10m/year, 5 weeks into the transfer period he has lowered it to 5m/year already. If he lowers it again over the next few weeks I might actually do it just to see Messi at Kaiserslautern 😄.

The Carvalho case was close though, he still had a very good career at Betis.
Really enjoyed this and your previous one of these! I’ve played FM a few years but only in the last couple of days started watching FM content, and your vids are my fave so far, such a different idea! Funnily enough, I had a save from this year (which has since corrupted, and I can’t get back cos the save was on my switch, boo me all you want, yes I play FM touch, it’s the only way I can play cos I take my switch to work and get gaming there) and in that save I actually had Carvalho and Gravenberch at about the same time, I think I paid a few million for Carvalho and I signed Gravenberch on a free (I tried to get him on a pre contract but he wouldn’t even talk to me, only allowed me to even offer him a contract when he was a free agent😂) so, I seem to have had the same results you had in the video here, Carvalho was great for me and really worked as a PF, and IF, a CM and an AP, whereas Gravenberch was really underwhelming, never really putting in a memorable performance despite me trying to fit him into a lot of different roles in different tactics. I remember Carvalho became a huge fan favourite, scored quite a lot of goals and towards the end I believe I used him a lot as a super sub and he really performed! Dunno if you’ll even see this mate but if you do, there’s some (hopefully you agree on this) interesting opinions from someone who’s had both the players you tried to guide here!
I’d love to see a Scottish version of this. Maybe see if you could get Billy Gilmour and Scott McTominay better moves? Or Greg Taylor and Ryan Christie

It would be nice to see the results side-by-side to make it easier to compare performance between you and the AI
Such a cool video idea, really interesting to see. Do wonder if on a second sim the AI would flop those players. Maybe next time (more work mind) there could be two separate sims, and potentially two different moves from yourself (or more), and basing the video on just that player rather than two, and see the differences between them all.

I really like the idea of doing current youngsters with no professional contract yet that was done in the first episode
would love to see some players who are struggling for game town outside of europe brought into the english system and see how high up the pyramid they can get

I've found that it doesn't seem to work as well with players at the start of saves, as they aren't as unsettled yet and thus demand wages that are completely nuts and won't join clubs lower than the current station. It's silly really given that he isn't playing IRL
