Absolutely helps when the judge understands that you are a new lawyer. One judge I knew would say things like, “So, would you like to set this case over and file a motion…,” (or some other action he thought necessary) and I knew that was a cue that I should do that.

Judges can be very helpful to new attorneys. I was in the jury box about to be picked for automobile accident. The judge asked does any of the potential jurors have a reason
To be let go. I said. “ Yes my sister-in-law was just killed last week in a car accident.”
This new attorney didn’t want to let me be excused and the judge kept saying to the newbie don’t you think she should be excused? After about the 5th time the newbie finally agreed

Sovereigns don't reject the Common Law. Common law is judge-made law, derived from case decisions and historical customs. They reject statutes / Bills created by Parliament through "legislation". To them Common Law trumps Parliamentry legislation, just as the Constitution supersedes "legislation" or policies that contradict the Constitutio itself. Secondly, we are ruled by "consent". Hence why we can say to the Police that we "do not consent to searches or seizures".......sovereigns understand this rights more than most and hence reject breaches/contradictions/non-consensual scenarios. E.g. in the video you see an image of a car without a licence plate. So according to Sovereigns understanding Common Law states you only need a licence if you are using the vehicle for commercial purposes. You do not need a licence just to "travel" for private reasons. Hence there is no requirement for having a "driving licence". Most people are not aware/are ignorant of this distinction......and therefore 'mock' Sovereigns or make sweeping statements like they "reject the US governments laws"......so disengenuous😮😂😂😂😂😂

Umm. Friendly tip. They dont reject the laws of the US. They reject the civil authority over constitutional rights and use maritime law as their law. Soo. Maritime over civil law. America does indeed have a two law system. Civil law aka precedent law and maritime. There is actually a way to request a maritime court proceeding but the default law is civil and it does indeed differ. However maritime law frequently uses precedence as well but it is much less comprehensive which is viewed as “more free” to the “natural man”
Basically, what im saying is that the “natural man” usage of maritime law argument has standing and precedence. Especially at a time when courts didnt care about violating 1st amendment rights and frequently sided with codes and rules that violated the constitution which is, according to definitions in the federal law, considered the “law of the land” and to be used as the filter to be used to be determine the validity of all other laws and the foundation as to what determines a “natural man” in the US. Where civil law defines a “person” as a “monster”. Thats not a joke.
I personally do not practice the natural man ways of thinking about law but i am familiar enough with it due to research on the subject that though there are some misguided people, they arent always misguided. Misunderstood and idiots(legal term) to law maybe. Mainly because maritime laws today is also called international law as international law was built using maritime law as its foundation and as such it generally applies to unincorporated land and undisputed international waters and in some cases certain deeded lands of the US.
So, contextually, she is also an idiot(legal term) in law and apparently she is implying the “natural law” is of no consequence or value to her or her story wouldnt have superfluously mentioned the “sovereign natural man” argument. As she tells it, that information wasn’t necessary for the stories context.

      @FGQuinto 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

@@JustMe-gx4xt no. I have not. I am not a lawyer. Nor should anything i write here be considered legal advice. It should be considered as probably flawed historical rememberings. I used to know the name of the proceeding it has since left my brain. However it goes something like this. You have to file for it prior to the court date.
Im not 100% sure on how the court works after you file and it is approved, but i believe it requires the important people to be under oath rather than a the standard blanket oath. The idea being that officials do not pledge an oath at the start of each case. According to my research and my flawed memory, natural men believe that under most US civil courts of law, the officials are not under oath and can therefore conduct court proceedings with disregard to the constitution and maritime laws. This is mostly where the idea that the US courts do not have real jurisdiction or authority unless they are under oaths and statements of oaths are on record and active during the proceeding. There is some credibility with this thinking considering court officials do not give oaths during court proceedings and this can lead an unlearned human to believe that the judge and lawyers are not under oaths and can therefore create their own rules and adjudicate things like civil codes that violate the natural mans god given rights and maritime laws. Cant remember the names but ya. Lawyers/Da/judges are not under oath during most cases and most lawyers do not like to handle cases while under oath since their words and actions are under intense scrutiny and they are personally responsible for mistakes.
If i am remembering correctly, it is also a way that you as an “idiot”(legal term) of the law, can represent yourself and use maritime laws to defend yourself.
I am aware of a youtube video where this happened and the court did proceed but i cant remember the details. It would be best if you consulted a specialist in “natural man” or sovereign law.

SovCits are a strange bunch. It is a good kind of legal-game to play ‘find the basis of the skewed logic’ however. A majority fall into two categories: One, is those to claim to be a foreign national under a ‘Moorish’ trade agreement that they cite as a treaty with the United States (which would then change jurisdiction to Federal law); but they’re is no such treaty recognized by the United States.
Second, is those who believe in a conspiracy that show the use of the word ‘incorporate’ and ‘corporation’ in US commercial law referring to the Federal Government. They then claim that the government is a for profit company overlaying the real government and tricking people into believing fake laws, the existence of states, etc. However they reject the definition of ‘corporation’ from that same code which states it is any group or organization represented as an entity (it can be government, nonprofit, social organization, a legal class, etc)

"They kind of reject the laws of the US government". She's a lawyer and that's the best clear definition that she can give on something. The judge said "there's a better way to do this". So the judge is advocating for her, the lawyer and her client, though, the judge, is supposed to be impartial while judging the hearing. I don't know what an actual sovereign citizen is but that's what early white Americans told the English government that they were. They didn't reject English law as much as they said it didn't apply to them.
One more thing, when a citizen who has never been in court or knows the laws, goes in front of a judge . Do you hear judges saying," listen I understand You're new to this & not familiar with the process, then take it easy on you, and give you advice. 😅

My pet conspiracy theory is that the sovereign citizen types were originally roused up by the government so that when people actually know their rights and talk back to a cop or judge the official just assumes they are dealing with a sovereign citizen.
Likewise with "moonlandinghoaxers" and flat earthers (big overlap there) so any time someone says "i think the government is up to no good" people again assume "oh you are one of those loons"
It wouldn't even be that far-fetched or as bad as things that our government has done with plenty of proof.
