lol you know it has been a long long time since i found a channel i get excited for post day . and re watch videos ive already seen to the point of knowing them almost word for word . but after 14 years on you tube you tube still surprises me a little bit . i hope you never stop having fun out there buddy . cause for for me and from the looks of them comments im not the only one who looks forward to them . still would love to see the ring worm sky scraper . you know three or four story mini cabin . would it still be a mini cabin at that point ? i dont know but it would be great fun to watch you build it . i think a spring to fall build kinda thing . or maybe just mill lumber all spring and summer so you have wood to build with all winter . hell if you decided to do two videos a week one for building and another video of you just doing random what ever it is you do when your not filming lol . hey i would not be mad . lets take a vote everyone who would watch Ryan do what ever he does when hes not filming a video video once a week leave a comment below saying you would watch a video of Ryan doing what ever hes doing when hes not making a video video . lol ok buddy stay warm work safe and ill see you in next weeks video not counting the times i re watch this video .

I truly enjoy watching your videos much more than any other ones on youtube. You don't spend half the episode of cooking outdoors. I get it, men can cook outdoors in the wild. It's called barbecuing!!! Your channel is more entertaining because you don't really follow a plan and you make changes on the fly. Keep it up, I'm enjoying this channel immensely.

Nice work on the cabin. Keep practicing on the quick shooting, you'll get there..Love your wit.. Put screen on the windows and or put a portable air conditioner to use in the summer and to keep the bugs out..Since you have a jackery and charging panels.. You'll be very comfy..God bless🇺🇸🌹❤️

If you use some Reflectix (bubble wrap with a mylar facing on both sides) on top of the floor and then add another wooded floor on top it will be much warmer. Even if you just staple it to the underside of the floor joists it will help. Put it on the ceiling and the shed will stay much warmer in the cold. Reflecting the stove heat back down. And keep the place cooler in the summer too. Lots of Alaskans use it for almost everything. Even just putting it on the bed underneath your sleeping bag will make a huge impact. Love the channel. If nothing else I've learned about a bunch of great reading material! 👍

You’re inspired me i went and got a chain saw mill like yours just bigger our trees are bigger then yours. With the price of wood I figured I can mess up quite a few and still come out smelling like roses 🌹 I already have a big chain saw just need to get more chains you’ve given me so many idea’s can’t wait to get started we get lots of storm’s so trees are easy to get free just need a trailer and a good winch plus I have 2-3 hundred black walnut trees on my property not the best building wood but free is free looking forward to every Saturday when you have a new video out it’s become my special coffee time personal leave me alone time thanks and keep them coming

Hi Ryan. I think U did an awesome job on your cabin/work shop. U can build anything it seems & I love it. I'm glad U can have a place to warm up or even live in thru the winter at least. I worry about U out there in the cold like that. Now since U have this not so bad. Wish U could make 2 video's a week. I can't hardly wait for Saturday's. Your video's are always first. Be safe-- God Bless... Phoenix

I love that your out there doing your own thing living how you want to live but I also love how we’re still all human and get tired and loose motivation in your previous video you mentioned how you didn’t want to mill all those logs in the snow all day but look at you now a new video new day all refreshed and not even thinking about what you didn’t want to do just simply getting to it I guesss my main point was that it’s ok to take a break and feel like not wanting to do something, sometimes loosing motivation is good because then you get to take a break and come back twice a strong

I usually fast forward the long milling, planing, grinding segments & go to the actual building of whatever it is you're building. Your life in the woods looks serene & enjoyable. I'm in Wisconsin & we had 40-50 mph winds yesterday & below zero temps, but spring is just around the corner. Take care & stay safe.

BTW, I’m on my annual ice and solitude trip right now at my fishing shack on an island in northern Minnesota. By most standards it is a humble cabin but I’m feeling a bit guilty about having electricity, heat and insulation. I don’t have any indoor plumbing however so my family really thinks I’m roughing it. 😜
